How do you make the silicone baby about the weight of a real baby?

I'm new at making silicone dolls, and I'm learning. I was wondering if you have to put beads or something in the solid silicone body to make it heavy, or if it is already naturally heavy.

Also, when making a solid silicone baby doll, how do you attach the limbs? Do you have to buy separate parts and then attach them all together, or are there molds that are already all one piece?

To my knowledge, solid silicone babies, at least the ones I have been in contact with, are just that... solid. I don't think there is any way to put something inside them. If it is just solid silicone head and limbs and a cloth body, then you would weight it just like you do the vinyl ones, but only the body.

Solid silicone babies are usually made all in 1 piece. Hopefully one of the other forum members who has made/created a silicone baby will come in a comment with more expertise than I have on this. :D

I do know 1 thing for sure: You can't use heat-set paints on a silicone. There are special silicone paints that you must use. Plus, you can't put a solid silicone in the oven. There are a few different silicones, one if "platinum cured" silicone.
