My Full Vinyl Reborned Berjsa Berenguer(with hand sculpted "wee-wee") & some of my other finished babies....

Hi everyone!

I thought I would post a few pics of some of my completed babies. I will begin with my most recent (full vinyl reborned berjusa with original "wee-wee" removed and replaced with one that I sculpted from polymers clay) and then go back a few.

Thanks!

You did a lovely job in creating a new "weewee" for your baby. All we see on anatomically correct male dolls is uncircumcized so the change up is nice IMHO. And his skintone looks very realistic. I have taken many pics of my first grandchild and will be posting closeup parts for others to learn from. She is a darker skinned baby (at least darker than both her parents and her skintone is similar to your first baby.

I'm thinking of getting that same berjusa boy... just waiting for the right ebay offer :) I love your work, really nice dolls!

Ya know, come to think of it... I think I have one of those in an "reborners grab-box" that I was going to sell on ebay. I think I put it in storage. I'm pretty sure it's a Berjusa. It also comes with other limbs from another doll(s) and some other stuff. Maybe I should find out what I put in the box and put it in "for sale or trade" and see if someone wants it, eh?

Buffi, please let me know if you have that paticular Berjusa boy (or girl), there are a few of them on Ebay, but no one wants to ship to Croatia. Or if they do, they are terribly expensive. I don't feel like giving $70 for a used doll + paying $30-40 for shipping :/

I'll try to get out to my storage place next Thur or Sat. I am not working those days. I seem to recall putting 2 other play dolls in that box, and I think a Berenguer head, maybe a random vinyl full body for plates. But I'll for sure let you know hun. Would be nice if someone would use the stuff. :D

Thank you so much! I'm a great fan of Berenguers/Berjusas :) I can't believe they made such wonderful dolls while I was still a kid!

Martina,
OK, I finally got out to my storage locker last night. I brought the box home with the mystery babies in it and looked. Here is what is in the box:

1 Jesmar head, full arms and full legs (sorry, it's not a Berjusa, but it's just as cute).

1 full complete "Chicco" doll with ball jointed limbs and head. This doll is a boy with a "weewee". It has "sleep eyes" that blink. (I knew I had a "boy" doll in the box but wasn't sure who) lol

1 full complete doll, female, looks like a "Citytoy" doll but all it says is made in china on it.

1 full complete, "non-gender" doll, says "citytoy" on the back.

Also in the box is 1 full leg, don't know where the other one is, never saw it. So 4 dolls in all.
And to complete the list is some misc paints, both oil and acrylic (if you want them, otherwise I'll throw them away).

If you decide you want them, I'll send them out but I'll find out how much to ship to Croatia. If you don't want them, then the offer is open to anyone else in forum hun. I am asking $30 for the box, plus shipping.

Dear Pat, I'm looking for one in particular Cititoy, one very realistic looking that is not made anymore, and I think it doesn't have a gender :) This is the doll: http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/photo/1185568196041173541AnUgCB If both of your dolls, the chinese and original are like these two, I'm interested in them! The others aren't what I'm looking for. Jesmars and sleepy eyed dolls are kinda scary to me haha! :) Also, are the paints safe for reborning? Didn't try regular acrylic and oil paints yet. And thank you, I really appreciate this!

ThaIt cititoy is a cute baby, and you're right... very realistic.
I'll try to post some pics of the dolls in the box within the next few days (have to work later today) in the showcase. Maybe someone would be interested in some of them. The Jesmar is really cute, only thing is it doesn't have the original vinyl body. If no one wants her I might just reborn her myself when I have time hahaha.
The paints have been used in reborning before, but nothing is like the Genesis heat set. I just thought someone might have kids that would like the acrylics or be a painter/artist for the oils. Although Ruth Annette from SRD used to use oils quite successfully on her babies. She also used JoSonia paints but they dry really fast so ya gotta be good and fast too lol.

It was good that I had to go to my storage locker to put some stuff in cause I found a box of 5 pre-painted, ready to assemble 18" doll kits in a box too. They all have sleep eyes (sorry).

Ok, off to work I go...

Thanks for the info, Pat!

I'll check upon this forum regularly to see if you posted pics of your mystery box :)
And if the Cititoy dolls are like the one in the picture, let me know, I'd like to buy them!
