SURI ALPACA

Dark strawberry/light chestnut baby alpaca hair from Plum Crazy Ranch:
https://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y285/sarahelizabethii/Personal/Frankenbabies/th_100_1561.jpg

Not much shine, but the texture is finer than anything I've used thus far -- it almost feels more like feathers than hair. I'm guessing this is about 1/4 oz, maybe a little more. I purchased 1/3 oz and have used two of the original seven bundles to sparsely root a newborn and a preemie:

I'm selling because I bought two shades of alpaca fiber from Suri Hill last week and discovered I've virtually duplicated this color. confuse.gif

PREMIUM MOHAIR

This looks like a hot mess, but it's dark brown premium wavy mohair from the Lowell Country store. Dark brown, probably between 1/2 and 1/3 oz:
https://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y285/sarahelizabethii/Personal/Frankenbabies/th_100_1563.jpg https://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y285/sarahelizabethii/Personal/Frankenbabies/th_100_1564.jpg

As you can see, it's clumped together but not tangled. Makes nice biracial hair when cropped short.

NUBORN CURVE MOHAIR

New, unopened 1/2 oz. package of Ruby Red light brown nuborn curve mohair:
https://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y285/sarahelizabethii/Personal/Frankenbabies/th_100_1573.jpg

I ordered light brown when I should have ordered ash blonde. Serves me right for being too lazy to double-check my supply drawer. I could return it to BB, but I won't lose out on return shipping if I can find a new buyer.

$13 shipped in USA

STRAIGHT MOHAIR

This is a little under .5 oz of Ruby Red dark brown straight mohair. It came with my starter kit and I haven't used it since sparsely rooting my original BB Teagan head. It's virtually as new in orginal packaging:
https://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y285/sarahelizabethii/Personal/Frankenbabies/th_100_1562.jpg
$10 shipped in USA

HUMAN HAIR

I picked up this package of human hair on a whim at Sally's Beauty Supply. I liked it because it was very shiny and soft, but the strands turned out to be much too thick for infants' hair. Might work for older dolls, or for practice rooting:
https://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y285/sarahelizabethii/Personal/Frankenbabies/th_100_1493.jpg

It's a pretty brown with highlights of reddish-blonde. The package has been opened but none of the hair has been used -- I haven't even removed it from the cardboard backing. Measures 9-10".

$8 *plus shipping*

I just weighed it and it's much lighter than I estimated -- it's 1/5 of an ounce. (That's .2 oz in decimal measurements.)

Here's another photo of it all spread out next to a ruler:
https://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y285/sarahelizabethii/Personal/Frankenbabies/th_100_1574.jpg

I think it could root 2 or maybe 3 newborn sized heads if you rooted them sparsely.

Oof -- sorry, I forgot about the photo rules again.

OK, thats good. I took out the [IMG] and usually that turns them into links instead of pics. Sorry they were broken. But at least you reposted them :)
