Question for reborners,lol
Permalink

Have a question for those who have been making reborns for a while. Do you bake your dolls in your house oven or did you purchase a counter top oven? And where can I get a counter top oven for my dolls and how much are they? I buy my kits from secrist and bountiful baby. I have looked on here in the forum for baking and found no help and it looks like no one has been on that one since 2008, I think was the last entry. If anyone can tell me what brand and how much and where to purchase one I would so appreciate it. Thanks Again.. And why I am at it. what brand of paint thinner does everyone use ids there a safe one to use?? I get all my paint from secrist and bountiful baby!!!

I am using Mona Lisa Odorless Thinner and I use my house oven. I don't have room or time for another oven. If the assitives in our foods won't kill me what a little toxic baby in the oven? LOL! My food doesn't taste or smell weird!

yet-
If I am at Wal-mart and I see a countertop oven large enough andI feel it's cheap enough I may get it, but I don't want to burn the parts and sometimes the elements are too close to the racks.

okay (from what these ladies have told me :) ) its not safe to bake kits in your home oven because their toxic but,, secrist, kits on the other hand are non toxic so their safe .... so looks like we both need to get a little oven just for our babys !! :)

Can you give me the brand name of what it is and where ya got it.. I have read the other post and no one really says the brand names of what they are using. call me a dumb blonde but I would like to know what brand names and if it is a roaster oven or what, lol. This is just driving me crazy not having any knowledge on this. Or knowing who i could contact to get a truthful answer.

If you use the search feature on our forum and type in oven, countertop oven, baking babies, etc along those lines you should come up with the old threads stating what ovens, brands, prices and all that. The one pictured is the one I have and I love it. But... whatever you get do NOT use it on convection! You will also find posts regarding the use/non use of the convection feature. Just set your oven (when you get one) on bake, and make sure you have an oven thermometer :D
