For Christmas I was given Nod from BB. It's a full vinyl body. I've never did one before. Do you take the doll apart to paint it? Because it came alltogether. Thanks for your advice. Linda
Yes hun. I have also answered your pm's. Just warm him up before taking him apart. He appears to have the same ends on his head and limbs that Secrist has (you know, the part where the tie wrap goes to hold the body). After warming him up, take a non-sharp tool and insert in the hole to remove head/limbs but be careful and don't pull too hard once you can grab an edge. The whole purpose to warming up the doll is to make it more pliable so it won't tear or injure the kit.
Do the same thing when you put him back together when he's done.
PS... on a full vinyl body, you can still weight the baby but make sure the pellets are in a stocking/bag.
I made one when I first started reborning and I took the doll apart to do the inside body wash. Even if I didn't do the wash I would have taken it apart I think its easier to paint apart.
