I'm pretty excited because I just won my first reborn baby on ebay this Fri. night. She is a ryan sculpt by Michelle Fagan. It was all by chance that I got her. I was watching her bidding which started at $1.00 with no reserve for one day only, I never intended to bid but my DH said to try at the very last minute so he did the bidding and won her for me! $140 with shipping........I think that is a wow kind of price. I am sooooo excited because she is my first. I can not wait to see her in person, she looked so beautiful in the auction pics.
Now I can't wait to knit her some cute clothes

Congrats on your win!! I know it feels awesome to win something you really wanted! I just won a 68/300 LTD edition of Sunshine by Becky Bright, so I know how you feel!!
Thanks, and congrats on your win too! It is really great to finally win something that you have been wanting for quite some time. I am anxious to see her in person. I have to admit I am a bit nervous, and hope she is as beautiful in person as in the photos online.
I should know in a few days........
When will you get your Sunshine?

Congratulations on your win ....Im so excited too my baby Dumplin has finally arrived after a cold wait in customs then parcel office I cant wait to start her but going to wait till after christmas as she is really our special christmas gift and we want to reborn her together ...a bit apprehensive but im sure I'll find loads of help and tips on here ....good luck and keep us upto date with your progress
I believe she was sent out today. There was an issue we needed to resolve first, but all is well, and I hope it comes soon!!
I'm glad you got your issue resolved, and I hope it comes soon. Is Sunshine a kit or already reborned? My baby is already reborned, that is part of the reason why I am so excited.......she is my b-day and Christmas gift this year. I have been wanting a reborn since I discovered them over a year ago. I am pretty sure she will be delivered tomorrow

I made my three girls a six reborn a couple of Xmas ago and because they thought they werenı getting a Xmas present, I wrapped them in callico and made them look like a plum pudding, so that is what the are known as now, PLUM Pudding. This year I am making the a porcelain fairy(All Porcelain) so I dont have to sew bodies and I can dress them quite quickly. Today I have to paint Eye Lashes and Brows on one and finish blushing her to send to Ireland. Pudding is a beautiful sculpt, I have the 4 of them to do but have been so busy, I haven't been able to get on here and chat so that is why the long story. Also this COMPUTER is having a case of the fits, one day it connects to the net and other days I have to wait all day. I'm so glad you had a win, cant wait to see what you make for her. XXXXXX June.
Oh I am also happy for all of you ladies! If you are even half as excited as when I bid on and win gemstones you still must be over the moon! I did win a reborn quite some time ago, I usually never win anything. She was... ok... but I'm going to re-reborn her. But I was told she was a $400 doll reborned and my raffle ticket only cost me $25 so that was a steal really. Actually she looks really lovely, but I think I'm too picky. *shrugs*
June, I would so love to come do porcelains with you. My closest porcelain to a full body was my 28" Shay. She has the 3/4 limbs, head, and shoulder plate. But a full porcelain... WOW! I hope you'll post her in the showcase when she's done please?
Thanks for such nice comments My little sweetie was delivered yesterday, and she did not disappoint me at all. She is a little beauty, and I am enjoying her a lot. I will probably take some pictures of her soon, and I will especially be taking pictures of her once I knit her a new outfit. I have to say though that the lady who reborned her sent her in the sweetest snowflake sleeper, and was very generous with all these sweet little extras that I was not even expecting. All in all it has been a really pleasant experience.

Danielle, I'm so glad you love your new little one so much. Ya, it's nice when someone puts little extras in with your adoption, makes you know that they really care. KWIM?
