How do I put my doll together to get a floppy neck like a newborn baby? That's what I want. Oh, I ordered Molly today - by Tasha Edenholm. And I got all my supplies! Now all I need is the baby which, UPS promised me today, should arrive any minute, from RDK!!
I put some of the plastic beads that you weight the body with into a knee high nylon but I put some fiberfill into the head first then the beads then fill the rest of the head with fiberfill, you have to work with it till you get it the way you want.
I also use the polypellets and polyfill for the head (as well as the limbs and butt). I put them in a nylon stocking like Dee and put them towards the back top of the head, then fill with polyfil. Then when I'm filling the body, I don't fill it tight in the neck. I sort of fluff it but use enough so that it doesn't wrinkle too much or look like stuffing is missing. KWIM?
The weight of the head and the light polyfil will combine to make your babies neck floppy. Let us know how you get on with it hun. :)
