confuse Would someone do me a favor and measure a 19" or 20" doll and give me two measurements? 

I need the width across the back from tip of shoulder to tip of shoulder.

Then, I need the length from the top of the head to the waist (if babies have waists!!).  Probably just to where the top of the diaper comes.

I know this sounds strange, but it is very important to me for a project I am working on for "real" newborn babies.

Hi Poppycat,

     I have a 19" little boy so here are his measurements:

Shoulder tip to shoulder tip - 7"
Head to waist - 10"

I hope this helps! :)

Despite my frequent postings, I'm still waiting for my first kit, Raine be Toby Morgan. I've been assured by UPS that he is on his way and I might even get him tomorrow.  But I'm also ordering the Sarah Sleeping kit from Kim van de Wettering as I've just fallen in love with her.

Well, if UPS says they're coming then they must be in process. Usually they give you a date that they will come. I hope you get them soon too. I just hate waiting for kits to come in the mail!

UPS has notified me that Raine has arrived in my town (SeaTac, WA) and is on the truck for delivery which is scheduled for today.  However, we have snowdrifts about a foot high around our house and the roads are covered.  I hope they have snow tires or I'm out of luck.  We don't usually get snow like this around here.
