Sorry guys I haven't been on for a few days. I've had one of the worst weeks. In no particular order:
I have been unemployed since January, so I've been doing ALOT of sitting in front of my computer all day as opposed to standing/moving around at work. I found a job as a cashier at a restaraunt and getting used to working and standing all day. My feet are killing me, and I'm exhausted when I come home. Learning new stuff is HARD! LOL
On Monday of this week, we took our 2.5 year old German Shepherd Zelda to the vet for a major issue and she died on Tuesday. It's been rough on us, but we're thankful for her son and daughter that we have, they look alot like her.
I'm sure there is more, but those are the majors, and they're doozies. Just wanted you guys to know why I've been away.
Oh! My sincere condolences on your dog hun. I can tell it was very painful for you. To some they are only pets, to some of us they are family. Mine are my family (along with my children). At least you have her kids! I know it won't bring her back but it can help ease the pain of your loss.
I'm glad you found a job after all that time. Financial burdens can also be an emotional burden. Give it some time and you'll get more used to standing. To refresh your feet, use some peppermint lotion. It should make them perk up!
So I for one am glad you are back. Try not to over-do and take care of yourself. Well be here when you get more time hun. HUGS
So sorry to hear of you Zelda's passing =( I hope your feeling a bit better. Prop your feet up and take it easy, we're not going anyway...we'll be here =)
I am so sorry about your doggie, I know how you feel, I lost my mommy doggie a couple years ago I had four of her babies and the daddy, I had to have the youngest baby put down last year he was 7 years old now I have three of her daugthers and the daddy dog who is 14 years old he has some health problems but nothing really to worry about right now, they are 4 yapping chihuahua's whom we love dearly. I'm glad you have her babies. And congrats on your new job.
sorry to hear about your loss, its always hard to lose a buddy. congrats on the job , hang in there it'll get easier. i've got a shoulder if you need it. sage
I haven't even had the heart or energy to work on babies.
I got back on my thyroid meds, so that should help.
On the day we lost Zelda, I had stopped to put oil in my truck and told my 18 yr old son to close the hood. As we were driving her to the crematory, the hood flew up! Thankfully the windshield didn't crack, but we had a hard time closing it, since the force of it bent the supports. I don't know how I'll be able to open it again. It could have been worse, it could have caused an accident. As it was, I was able to quickly pull to the side of the road (we were on a stretch that had a turn lane right beside me and there was NO one else around.) And then I lectured the kid on the importance of making sure stuff is done properly. It was NOT a good day.
And the job isn't something I *WANT* to do, but *HAD* to do. I'm not even sure it's worth the money to drive out that far...:(
But anyway, thanks all, and I'll be right soon. lol
Sorry about your pet, I know how hard it is to loose one, we had Pepper a blue cattle dog for over 21yrs, and I swore I would never have another one, but it seems we keep getting our sons, and they talk to us, calling me Moum, the other used to say Hullo Moum, as they are very big dogs, they are outside dogs or on the verandah. Once again sorry for your loss, glad to know you have a job and that you can always find something you like better later on. XXXXX JUne.
