New 18" doll kits coming out Aug 24th!

Hi Everyone!
Well, good news! On Aug 24, 2010, Secrist will be making available on the market some new faces! The are called "Beautiful Friends" and they should be able to help you compete in the 18" American Girl doll market.
What is great about these dolls is they are a kit and can be painted just like other doll kits in Secrist line, or you will be able to get them with the eyebrows already painted on and the internal perwinkle wash already applied. They are the same great vinyl you have come to know and love from Secrist.

There will be 7 different faces (Annette, Button, Carly, English, Freckles, Jackie, & Punkin).
They will also have 3 hair styles available in 4 colors to fit the new Beautiful Friends doll kits (curly. long, and short) colors are: blonde, auburn, brown, and dk. brown/black.
Along with that you will have the usual 10 eye colors to choose from that Secrist carries. All colors are Real Eyes Brand doll eyes developed and made by Secrist Dolls.

A bonus!! There will be an online "free training video" for just a short time (Aug 24th-31st).

If you are not a dealer, you will want to check with your dealer for information about these new kits. I just got my information today!

Annette, Button, Carly, and English had been out some time ago on the AV side but were pre-painted kits you just put together. So I'm glad that Secrist is bringing them (and the others) over to the Secrist side. The other 3 are brand new faces for Secrist. 
Freckles is really cute and has her/his 2 front teeth missing with a big smile (and freckles on the nose and cheeks). how cute!

Now realize that these are like the American Girl where they are not babies or young toddlers, but are older faces like AG. But the great part is that the girls that age can paint them, no mottling and stuff and hopefully you can market the kits (if you're a dealer) to the moms & daughters to paint together.
Or you can paint them yourself and sell them actually to the ages that would normally purchase the AG dolls. How cool is that!

Oh yes indeed. Same vinyl Secrist always uses, translucent and soft. :)

Okay I couldn't help myself BUT I had to take a peek and I must say Secrist out did himself on these beauties!!! I absolutely love them... And look forward to trying one myself for my neice who lives in FLorida! And I just watched the Free video that I got in my email.. I had to watch it not once but twice!!! and I am excited to do one.. lol

Go to doll kits, and then there is a list of how many inches and it's in the first column and it will say the 18" beautiful Friends they show just the heads you have to find the arms and legs.. I hope I explained it farely well! Hope this helps

So is someone making the little things (like business cards) that go on our webpages? You know, like the guilds and things have (oh, I just wish I knew the word I was searching for) I just love this design and the name really suits that forum!! :) I want one for my website!

Carley takes 20mm, Annette, Button, and Punkin take 18mm. I'll have to contact the office to see what the others take.
