I just got the Donna RuPert anatomically correct front and back plates and the peach colour just happens to match my crying baby..with cloth body to use and how do I assemble it?
I'd really rather have full limbs and not the 3/4(I think) that came with the kit...I've bonded with my crying baby(I've too many names for her and not sure which one fits her)
I don't have a working camera anymore..but OMG she is starting to look so so adoreable I could cry...
I thought she was comming along great by the looks of your last picture as well! The belly plates are fairly simple to use, there should be a "notched mark on the sides where you punch a hole in the vinyl and attach by using a ribbon or something you can tie around baby and be able to remove if you don't want to pose her with it. With both plates I usually tie them together once they're on the baby or use elastic and tie both togther, this way you can just slip it on and off without constantly tying them. Did you paint them as well?
Your crying baby is going to be adorable with those plates. Can't wait to see!!!!!

I think using ribbon to tie with would be a better idea, as elastic these days, just doesn't last. you can use a tone to mach the body plates and then just tuck them in underneath. XXXXX JUne.
Great ideas gals! Also, Secrist has a tutorial on how to do belly/tushy plates on the site (or maybe it's in the guide). But the RuBert torso should work just the same.
