How exciting for you! I just love getting those types of packages in the mail. Teagan is one of my favorites and actually my very first reborn doll in my collection. She's what peaked my interest to try reborning. I've actually reborned 4 of them over the years. You are going to be busy!

I won't be working on them tonight, I didn't get a very good nights sleep last night as I slept in the car while Sam was in the ICU ward, after his surgery. BUT they are here, I only have one problem, Kaya is flat, I know you can bulk the head and reshape with fill and weighting, but that is not what I want to do, I think she will have to go back. But they are all here and I love all of them, so I am going to be busy again. XXXXX June.

Have you tried hot water inside her head to reshape it? I've had to do that a few times as the head tends to get a bit misshaped during shipment sometimes.

I have emailed them and they have said to put a hand towel in the bottom of a saucepan and fill with water and boil, that she should reshape herself. XXXXX June.

Either that or just stick her in the oven for about 5 minutes. Secrist says all vinyl has a memory. I have found this to be true. Have had several flat babies. it works hun.

Yay for boiling water!

I have Tegan and Kaya (I think). Tegan is pretty little, a preemie size but kinda cute. Kaya I'm going to do as a bi-racial baby. Probably a 6 month old so not all the newborn mottling. More of a peaches-n-cream complection.

I wish we had not been crashed into by that SUV on our motorcycle. I had 2 job applications filled out with my resume and was going to turn them in that next day, Monday. AND I was going to start moving boxes and stuff out of my shop so I can get in there and re-arrange so I can do jewelry and dolls. Now I have to wait! ^%&^^*&*(&*& Awe crud!!! I'm not sure when I'll be physically ablt to do it now.
And I go back to school (only 2 days a week instead of 5) tomorrow. Hmmmm

I have Teagan also and Kaya, she will be my bi racial, in similar tones to the one I did for the mothers day swap, I just loved her. Didn't realise Teagan was so small but I think she will be cute. XXXXX June.

Can't wait to see your babies, I just finished painting Kameko now I need matte sealer from BnB but can't get it I hope Alena comes back soon I don't have enough paint to paint another baby, so I guess I will do some scrap booking which I don't love like I did before reborning I will do a page or two then I'm done for weeks or months it does not relax me like reborning.

Waiting is the hard part for me. Not that I'm impatient but if I have to wait for something to come back into stock so I can order it I mean.

I have done some scrapbooking. It's not bad but I love reborning more. :) So I have several heads to root so I would personally do that instead of scrapbooking if I had a choice.

You know... as soon as I am able to get going on all this moving boxes and re-arrangeing, I'll have to go through my kits and list on here which ones I want to sell. I have many Secrist/AV, also Linda Shelton and other sculptors. I would like to buy Abby's new kit as she is simply adorable but... gotta move more stuff out and sell before I buy more I don't have room for. I have them trying to get out of the closet right now!!! :o

I used to love scrap booking, my daugther in law and I used to do it one day a week at each others home we made snacks it was fun then doing it together but since Cameron's passing she has not done any, so it it not fun doing it alone, I used to do all of our family get togethers now I just do JJ and Calli's when I'm in the mood. I also love reborning better.

I have kept all our cards since the day we where married, one day I want to sort them out and put them into a scrap book, but it wont be any thing fancy. Making Dolls( Reborns ) isn't a matter of life and death, It is more important than that. Just an old saying when we where doing a lot of porcelain doll making. XXXXX JUne.

Sounds like someone is going to be busy with the arrival of all those wonderful kits.

Dee, I'm running behind so I'm going to have to look in the Artist Showcase to see if you've already posted the Kameko you are working on.  I love that sculpt!

Scrapbooking sounds like fun, and I have always had great intentions.  That's as far as it's gone.  I have photos, souvenirs, cards, and unfortunately all are in boxes.  I'm not sure I'll ever find the time to get everything sorted out.

Buffington, can't believe you are starting school again so soon.  I'm not sure you've had enough of a break to relax even if it is only 2 days.

Linda
