The little 9.5 yr old is painting Kara with the open Mouth and her Mum is doing Molly. I think she has some talent for her age. She will be an up and coming little star at reborning. We have only done two lots of baking so far, and she didn't loose concentration. XXXXX June

That's what my 9 yo niece Felicia wants to do..I told her I will try to get her a mini 10inch kit from BB or her her mum will..and I will fix her up with a bit of basic paints, odorless thinner,a well paint palette, etc etc...and coach her through a bit of basics and direct her to all the free video instructionals about reborning on the internet.
I really think her mum's interested in this art as well...their both young and got good eye sight...Felicia has already put Neve Victoria in pig-tails and sizing up some pretty outfits for her..so yes she got her heart into it(the reborn I gave her) and a seed of passion for this art has been somewhat planted...
May I comment,oh what a beautiful scenic view they have a very lovely looking street they live on and their big work area is what I need....a very nice setting

That is so sweet, I wish my daugther was still that young so that we could work together, she does not have time now she has her hands full with her own 5 month old son. Please take pixs of the finished babies.
Same here Dee. My little man's 8 monthes now (time flies) and starting to get into everything he can, getting his mommy on her toes she have no time at all LOL. How Is little Joshua? Getting big I bet and spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa! I know our Julian is!! My son however whose 18, in a band and off to college, wants me to teach him LOL I think it's great we need more men in the art, another view point.
If you saw behind the curtains, it's not thast scenic, the back yard(I.5 acres) well half of it is full of demolition material, ie: Windows, doors, timber, bricks, roof tiles, you name it , we have it, toilets, and the kitchen sink. LOL . Sam used to be a demolisher, that is how we got our house and have renovated it to near new, just have the outside to do. Will pos a pic on here of what this area was like a few months ago. This is another LOL>
My little JJ is fine he is is getting so big, he will be 6 months on September 4th he keeps his mom and dad busy, I have him here right now we get him for 2 days at a time, we are so happy and blessed to have him, he loves to pull papa's beared and he likes me to nibble his fingers, he is so goofy, I call him goofy goofy goofy he thinks that the funniest thing. I'm glad little Julian is doing good, it's so much fun being a grandma, I love him to pieces but when I have had enough I can take him home, at 55 years old my nerves are not like the use to be LOL.
You all are so lucky to have grandbabies. I too am 55 Dee and I don't have any yet. My oldest daughter is 34 and doesn't plan on having any. My other daughter is 21, has a lot a head of her and doesn't have time for that right now. I agree. Not that having babies at 21 is a bad thing but she wants to be a nurse. So college comes first. It's ok, I'll be around for a long time (barring any unforseen things like motorcycle crashes like that one on Sunday!).
I can share mine with you Pat, I have eight, and maybe in Nov, we will have two more little embyo's happening with Samantha ( IVF ) so we may get twins this time arround. Macey, our little treasure, is smart, using words that I have to explane to to her. She want's to know what a Petition, an interview, and protesting is. How's that for 4.8yr old? That's Macey, she never shuts up. When I take her to day care she talks all the way asking questions, somethimes for an old girl like me, that hated school it is a bit hard to answer, just as well they are common sense questions. I just don't know where she has heard them. Most of the other seven are like her, except the one going through puberty. That's a hard one to follow. But she is her mothers daughter and now MUM knows what I went through LOL, LOL, LOL. XXXXX June.
Mom and daughter are doing a wonderful job, and look like they are totally engrossed in painting. Thank you so much for sharing the photos!
I would share grandkids, but I only have one grandchild--3-year-old, Katy Rose. I have kept her at our house when my daughter and her husband work. While I love having her, reborn baby production has definitely slowed down significantly. I want to enjoy these young years though, because I can't get them back later.
It is amazing what comes out of the mouths of babes. Sometimes she says things that I had no idea were part of her vocabulary. The other day, it was the word "camouflage" and she even used it correctly.

Yes isn't funny that they know just where to use it? Macey also has a bit of an over bite and can't say Kits, comes out with a T instead of a K, but then most of her K sounding words, do. She lives with us most of each fortnight with her mother as her farther IQ is way above our heads, I guess that's where she gets it from. He has been excepted into Mensor Club for people with an IQ of 98% out of 100. He is very brainy but has no common sence. No ordinary person could hold a conversation with him. XXXXX June.

He is our heart. PopPop spoils him rotten =) okay and mom mom too LOL We just love being grandparents. He's cutting his third tooth and He just started crawling (well "army" crawling) he's so funny seeing him scoot around, he's so fast , my daughter says he already is starting to get into things and pulling himself up. We get to watch him a couple of times a week as well when his parents work, and I'll tell you something for being a little guy he wears me out, his not bad just active curious about everything. I'm glad hear JJ's doing great as well. they do get big so fast so we have to enjoy every minute we can.

That's one of the perks of being grand parents when you get worn out you can take the babies to their parents.

So, enjoy your grands and hug them all for me.
Our son is 36 he does'nt have any children his wife is 43 she has 24 and 22 year old sons whom my son helped raise the oldest son has 6month old daugther, as you know they lost little Cameron last year, it will be a year that he has been gone on the 23rd of August, it will be a sad day but a blessed one cause we have little Calli now. Our daugther is 22 she is adopted she was in college but started hanging with her biological sisters that wants to be nothing and has to many babies, our daugther could have had her 4 year degree in computer programming now but she chose to be a mom, so it's going to be tough for her but thats the life she chose, We love her dearly but wish she had finished college , she and her boyfriend are excellent parents but I hope they don't have anymore children for a long while. Well I have vented enough. LoL
No perks in this house when I'm worn out, I take her and lay on the bed and watch the funnies or ABC kids, she keeps waking me when I fall asleep, saying Nana, your not asleep, if I say no, well why are you snooreing? lOL. June
I guess I'm lucky so far, my daughter is determined to conintue college with the baby. She has 2 more years left and just got a job substituting at her old elementary school however it's still going to be a rough 2 years for her. But like you said, it's the path she chose and were here to help in anyway we can. I told her it will ba a tough 2 years but I wouldn't change a thing. Now that he's here I can't imagine a time when he wasn't.
June, my fatherinlaw said he tried that when his boys were little until one day he said he woke up with 5 llittle ones staring at him 12 inches from his face...LOL said it scared the you know what out of him!
I know it's hard when our children seem to make choices that don't see easy or smart. I think in the end, we (grandparents) are truly blessed.
To put things in perspective... My cousin's 16-year-old daughter is pregnant. My cousin (a single parent) has such a good attitude. He says God doesn't make mistakes, and hopes he will be a good grandpa like his dad is to his children. It will be hard to finish high school with a baby, but his daughter is lucky to have such a supportive dad.

Yes Grandparents are blessed, it's a blessing that your cousin has the support of her family, I agree with your cousin God doesn't make mistakes even in death.
Isn't it funny how, when I started this Mother and Daughter Post, it was about reborning now it has become our own personal family post, which has turned out to be lovely. Knowing we all feel the same about our families is so uplifting. Keep this post going. XXXXX JUne.

MY Grandparents on my mom's side of the family is no longer with us as they pasted on many years ago. And I really didn't know them as The Grandmother had Alzhimer's and Dilmincha(spellings of both are not even close to being correct it kills me lol not to spell right). Anyways, And The Grandfather past on many years before I was born. However, I like to think I am blessed to have known the stories of them and that I charish what little of antic's that I possed through the years.
I am great for having 3 brothers of which only one speaks to me. and A terrific Mom who loves me for who I am and not my choices.. lol I would love for my mom to do a reborn with me as a mother daughter thing. As we do lots of crafts with her, I just learned how to crochet and it's exciting SO maybe she will want to know how to reborn! lol We will see.
I miss my brother! lol all this talk about family is making me miss him. Any hooo!

I have two sisters and two brothers, my youngest sister is 12 yrs my jounior, when we where younger we where very close, but she is set in her ways and the 4 of us that are older, don't fit into her life. She wants to become, something she's not and in the meantime has made a very big generation gap. I hate to say it, but I think she is going to have a very lonely life. We have no secrits in our families, and share our joys and our sorrows. But when one in the family has to keep up appearences, and think she is better than the rest of us, she is going to be lonely because as I said, we will all be gone before her and she will have no other family except her own. It is Sad, but sometimes in life, we choose or own path. She has choosen to go in the oppersite direction. XXXXX June
My oldest brother is around 48 years old, and I am 24 years old! lol we are so far apart in age but yet we are so close to thinking what each other is thinking! lol So I guess we are alike we don't always have the same opinion... Oh anyways! I hope that one day both of my other brothers wont be angry and will come to there senses of what or how they acted!

Well we had another successfull reborning class with Mum and Daughter, I will post more pics after I get them down loaded into the computer. This is one little girl that is on the ball, I realy hope she is able to keep doing this hobby. XXXXX June.
I am the second oldest of 6 my mom had 3 boys and 3 girls it's so odd she had boy girl boy girl boy girl , My older brother and I had the same dad and the other 4 had the same dad my brother and I lost our father when I was 13 so my step father and mother raised us we lost him about 3 years ago we are all pretty close but my older brother and I are really close we have always been that way we live about 3 blocks from each other and the youngest lives about 6 blocks from me, we have get togethers a lot at the youngest home she has a basement we are all in the same state except my other sister she is in Ohio she moved there about 2 years ago because thats were her children are and she became a grandma we talk on the phone about twice a week. It's nice not to be at each others throats.
I love my second family Lol. We get along the two of us and of course his wife and three kids and my mom. I have lost my grandparents and all my aunts and uncles on my mom's side of the family... And none on my dad side dislikes me lol... it's ironic because I dislike them two!!!
Any hoooo! I got my sub family and my favorite hobby... so I am good, I have thrown myself into reborning more than I did before because I recently departed from the b/f.. and it was a good departure in a way! We drifted apart mainly I did... arguments are not my forate....

As promised, Mum and Daughters 2nd Class, and the dress for their babies. Amonst the pics is Macey, she has made a lovel friendship with Tracy. This is the class of do them putting on 07 Skin Tone, we did this twice. Also the long dress was one that was used for Tracey and her older sister for their Christening, Samantha put pink grub roses on it while they painted so it matched Mums bedroom. Tracey's Dress was sent from South Africa from her Nana, as that is where they are originally from. I think they are coming on nicely, some more blushing, milk spots, blemishes, and me making bodies, should see them close to finishing apart from touch of colour to lips and finger tips. What do you all think? XXXXX June
