Mohair by Debbie:Has Anyone Here Bought From Her?

Her prices seem reasonable, but I've gotten use to really premium quality mohair(from Dawn Marie/Delta Dawn)I was wondering how Debbie mohair compares to Dawn Marie's

http://www.mohairbydebbie.com/

Dawn Marie I've spent $65 for a 1/2 ounce (I rate 5 Stars out 5)
McPherson I've spent $25 for a 1/2 ounce(I rate 1 Star out of 5)

I've bought from others on eBay..I won't mention names,(7-10 turds out of 10)
That's how bad the mohair was

I haven't tried Delta Dawn's mohair but have hear of it's quailty. I used Debbie's in the past and just loved it now I go back and forth between Debbie and Slumberland.

So Debbie's mohair is as good as Slumberland?
I've heard a lot of good reviews about slumberlands

I started out with Debbies through testimonials here at the forum then she got sick for awhile. Then I tried Slumberland and just love it. I like the variety of colors Slumberland has but Debbies roots just a nicely with just as little waste. I guess it's just a matter of personal preference.

I too have the samples from Debbie but never got round to buying any as I have heaps of different colours that I used on my Porcelain Fairies. I have rooted Jefferson Brian with Alpacka off the skin it is lovely and fine. I have also died mohair to get the right colour for an order. I will post in Artist Show case how I did it after I had rooted the head. The rest of dye I used on myself. XXXXX June.

I don't care for Delta Dawn mohair. She over-conditions it and it sticks together in 1/8" clumps and after microrooting, it goes "uneven" at the top, and you have LOTS of waste.

Good thing there are many other people selling mohair eh? It's nice to hear other's opinions of what they have tried. Secrist's premium is pretty good. But I'm spoiled... I have my own hydes with the hair still on them, so I just use that lol
