It's a nice thought. The forum accepts everyone who wants to learn how to create reborn dolls so it doesn't have membership "requirements" and is not a guild (although it has a nice ring to it). I've never known a logo for members of the forum to exist, but Pat has a longer history with Secrist so she might know.

I know it's more work, but why couldn't you form a group of your own and create a logo to display. It could even be a separate forum site. I think my website allows the creation of a forum so surely there are others??????

I am not graphics literate, so I wouldn't be any help creating a logo as such, but I CAN (and will if you want me to) create a forum for us. That much I can do.

I think thats a wonderful idea as well. B.A.B.Y. was a guild that was created from member of this forumn in AU if I'm not mistaken. Not sure how they went about it though, again Pat might know more.

Ok, I'm willing to make a website. We need to brainstorm and come up with a name. A good acronym incorporating our efforts. I even have a background for the logo in mind.

Some words we might could use:

Lifelike, realistic, baby, doll, painting, perfecting....

I just woke up thinking about this, so I'm a little foggy this AM. I know you ladies can come up with some other words that we can eventually use to make our acronym.

We even want the EXPERTS advice here. This forum will be for everyone, not just us newbies starting out.

Ok, for those of you who want to use a Secrist logo on your site, go to either mine or Sage's website and save the logo she made.

I hope we can use this on our sites, I don't think we're violating any rules here. We just want to show off our wonderful forum!

CRAFT- Creating realistic and forever tots. Maybe.

I posted the Logo on my site, check it out. If it's not acceptable, I can change it later, it's just a work in progress right now. :)

LOVE your forum logos, but I think you need the permission of Secrist Dolls because it uses the Secrist name.

Love the new forum name!

The "Secrist" logo... sorry guys, it's a copywrited name and only Secrist can issue stuff with their name on it. Mr Secrist is VERY strict about this.
I WILL however, make some connections to inquire about using the Secrist name for us, and also see if I can get the graphics person (if we have Secrist's permission) to make us one or approve the one you have designed. But please DO NOT use it until/if we get permission. Don't want anyone to get in trouble. (and yes, it violates the copywright infringement laws, sorry).

I need you to put your creative minds to work and come up with an Acronym for the new forum.

The only one I came up with is CRAFT and I think it's dumb. LOL (Creating Realistic and Forever Tots)

I can't think of anything for the E and the L off the top of my head but our babies do look real AND they are not in that "fake baby" garbage that was going around a while ago. I don't care for those that use the "fake baby" words in their ads or website. Seems just not right to me.
I thought enthusiastic and live for those 2 letters but... na.
Maybe someone else can help. But we dont' want it to be to long or complicated do we? Look at B.A.B.Y. AND A.R.G., they are short and to the point. Maybe I need to think some more eh lol.

I had a heck of a time with it then I did the audio and it took that way. Maybe thats the problem if you don't get it just right it will keep repeating the registration! You just have to make it over we miss you smile
