confuse  ok i'm probably starting a fight here but here it is .we all know moneys tight all the way around but i keep seeing these reborns in 50.00 to 100'00 outfits, the 200.00 mohair,40.00 eyes and add a 200.00 kit. then their mums want to boohoo cos their darling didn't sell.............well DUH.........if you want to spend like that......ok  but don't gripe when you've priced your self out of the market.a lovely store bought outfit , 50.00 hair,10.00 eyes  would work just as well.  ok lets have , what is your opinon?                                            sage   aww                      ps ..i'm so bad......haha(EVIL LAUGH)

I agree as well. The economy is just too bad right now for people to spend that kind of money on collectibles.

When Bush was in I made a lot of money in the computer business,I bet if I did these babies back then(and that was not that long ago)I'd make money with that as well..Now no matter what you do..business has dropped 85%..we are working with a 15% economy..can you understand that?..yeah the change(rubbish)..he really meant the "Chains"

I would NEVER Spend that kind of money on a kit, mohair, or eyes... If it meant me waiting for an awesome sale I would jump right on it! But guess what there is no chance of me spending $1,000 to get all the materials to complete one baby...... I mean spend almost that much on materials to get that "baby" a chance to look really NOPE... lol.. so yea I agree with ya!

Why does everyone blame Obama for whats wrong with our economy? People forget that when Clinton was president the economy was fine, then afters 8 years of Bush the economy went down the drain, Obama can not fix in one year what took 8 years to mess up give the man a chance give him his 4 years, if things don't get better then talk about him. I think its about race more than anything which it should'nt be, who cares what race the president is as long as he is for all people  and our great country.

Obama just happens to have one of the worst economic markets in our history..our fall is not all by him..but he(his people) contributed highly to..I was doing great with Bush's(his people)..Obama's change has brought chains..he is only there for the sensationalism...give him 4 more years...that would be crazy...he's proved to be a mistake...his government seems to chase big businesses out of the country..

Sorry he is not the Messiah..he is not the blessing everyone made him out to be..but saddly just one more curse.

confuse    i agree , so anyway i was on another forum and there was a chrisening gown for 75.00 an angle shirt and bottom for 27.00. who buys these at those prices ? it just crazy!!   confuse                                                     sage          aww

Ya, come on guys, lets all play nice here. We have a "NO MEAN PEOPLE" policy here in forum. So lets get back to where we were...

I just went on the BB website and bought about 22 doll clothing patterns, shortalls, bubble suits, Mrs Claus outfit, etc. They are Ruberts and at $.99 each I just couldn't pass them up (besides I had paypal money left!). So......................... as soon as I get my shop all set up downstairs, I'll have room to sew (and make jewelery) so I'll start putting my reborn clothes on here for you all. I don't charge a fortune and my stuff is just a much quality as the professional stuff that is spendy! Might not be till spring though, gotta get it cut out (I don't like that part, I just wanna sew)!

I LOVE TO sew when I have time and I can share the time with my mom! We always do a mother/daughter sew day... Hmmmm I can't wait at all!!!

Used to be when my girls were younger, I could pay them per piece to cut out the outfits and then I'd just sew them. That too was a fun mother/daughter time. But alas, they are grown and don't like to do that any more :(
But I can't wait till I can sew again. I have a $7000 embroidery machine (including the cost of cards) and I can't wait to do some designs on the outfits. I can even make my own lace!
