Well,the reunion was a flop...I vow to never go to it ever again...cousins/relatives almost everyone was so so off-standish..and being sensitive as I am...it hurt...this was a mistake to even think my family has a warmth inside....

Just a bunch of "Stone-cold buttholes".

Sorry about the reunion =( family can be full of themselves can't they. They are suppose to be supportive but unfortunately that isn't always the case.

Oh I'm so sorry to that it went the way it did. Like Liselle said it is too bad they can't see you for what your worth. You know, it takes talent to create these babies and family can sometimes show themselves right out in the open. It's definately not you I'm sure, it's them. My reunion is coming in two weeks and it can be wierd. Every year it seperates into three sections (clicks, if you will). Sometimes family can be just plain strange. I have friends that are closer to me than family members. Your avatar baby is adorable, I don't know how anyone can not appreciate that! smile

I feel that I'm gaining a strong and postive extended family here who are also a goldmine of friendships,reminds of a beautiful and emotional Japanese or Korean drama I was glued to 2 years ago,it was a short 13 episode series...the name eludes me now...

Yes Emily is absolutely right. I am closer to some friends than family members. When I got married to my husband 23 years ago I thought I found that perfect traditional unjudging family....HA.. it took maybe 13 years for it to expand with sister in laws thier children girlfriends ect but in the end, it changed to the "clicks" if you will. Where one likes gossip the other like conflict ect. Pity and sad. So It's thier loss not yours.

Well its gonna be kinda tough to get past the hurt and their meaness..the only fix I have in mind is getting another reborn kit on sale(cheap or a trade) one or the other:

Sorry to hear that your reunion stunk. Sometimes families can be a pain and people you meet on a forum or in real life can be better than the ones we live with and love!!!.... So yea I agree that families can be awful and hurtful...

Some people are just so mean and cliquish for so many reasons that I'm clearly not qualified to list. So sorry about the reunion treatment. What a disappointment for you!

Ditto what everyone before me said about this. And, you are right--you need a Holly kit. I hope you find a deal on her soon so you can get back to the positive side of things.
