I'd even try one of Secrist Asian babies,if I could get it on sale...I just think Asian babies and toddlers are so so adorable...almost like little China-Doll's(in a positive notation)
I use to do a lot of importing from China and Korea and I real enjoy dealing with the Korean's,they are oh so so professional and nice to deal with...although the Chinese are no quite as socialable,Chinese language is much more harder for me to use than Korean
Check BB I just purchased Kameko for 29.95 she is out of stock right now but you can put your name in and they will email you when she's back in stock, she is so cute.
I have a soft spot for the Asian babies, too. It seems like Kameko is out of stock every time I look. I have Sebilla Bos' Li-Hua (Real Effect) in stock, and I am itching to take one off the shelf to reborn, but it's a much more expensive kit so I'm trying to be good.

Oops... thanks for reminding me. I just re-read the post. I forgot about the Asian Apple Valley and Secrist. Maybe I can keep my hands off Li-Hua for awhile.

Sage, is there a picture of the new kit on the BB site? I can't find it, and I was even wearing glasses.

Li-Hua is a real sweetie...and there are the 2 Asian kits that Cathy Rowland makes which are darlings but a bit expensive...I just ordered the last one that this online store had..Dumplin by Donna Rupert...total with shipping was about $43...and ofcoarse it's gonna be a girl
...but it'll be my first closed eyes and crying baby..and I ordered 2 of Cathy's anatomically correct torso's at $49 each...some lashes, eyes(for future project)and that finished off the $200 I got for my Violetta
Next I got to find some money for mohair(Dawn Marie/Delta Dawn) and cloth bodies and ofcoarse another kit so I can use the 2 torso kits with....I just sold an item on eBay for $65 that I bought at a thriftshop for $12....
A lot of artists do what I call a generalized Asian face. Or what they used to call Amer-Asian (bi-racial Asian) faces. The eyes are always way too round to be full blood Asian. I have a Korean face that I started sculpting some time ago. I looked at the Korean face, eyes, nose, etc in order to get it right. The eyes are the most important thing if you are doing "realistic" not generalized Asian dolls.
Some of them out there are very good and some are not as far as features go. I'll have to try my hand at sculpting him again some time. I left his head sit for too long and the clay dried out and cracked. :(
