Would you be so kind as to post a few pictures of your work here? I'd love to see good closeups of how a baby can look using those paints. I really prefer the AR, but I can't buy ANYTHING at the moment, as I have NO job and NO unemployment income.
I have a couple of air dry sets, so I really need to get a feel for them, and I'd like to see what I'm getting into with them, you know?
I have 2 of my babies here on page 3 under my latest, both are done with B-n-B air dry paints let me know what you think. As a matter of fact my avatar is one of them.

My first kit was Bethany! Also my first attempt at air dry paints. That was before I found the forum and alot of help I needed to figure it all out I guess thats what turned me off air drys =( it's ashame really but it didn't have very good instructions on how to use them. Anyway my Bethany with air dry paints is in the artist showcase as well I think she under the member name eeyore068 =)
If you do use air dry paints, would you please post a pic or at least a link to your babies done with them? I have the hardest time with that silly search! It never seems to work right for me. lol
I would love to see how the air dry paints look on a reborn.
Just go to the artist showcase go down to bottom of page click on page 3 then go down to bottom of page 3 click on my latest go down until you see my babies, I have toned the creases down on the blonde baby after I posted here she looks much better now. tell me what you think.
I finally found them! LOL. You've definitely got a good technique there. I really like some of the coloring that you've achieved with the air dry paints. (ADP)
One question, and I hope I don't offend, but is it common with the ADP to have that shine that I see so often? Is that the trade off to using ADP? How can I avoid it?
Thank you for the comments, I'm not offended it may be the camera shots because the dolls themselves don"t shine. I use a matte sealer so they won't shine. Good luck if you decide to use ADP.
I'm to much of a chicken to use HSP I'm afraid I might put in oven and forget about it, thats how my 55 year old brain works at times I can go in a room to get something then forget what I was going to get, so I have to go back to other room to find what I was going to get in other room.
Like Dee said, if you do happen to get some shine, there's always matte sealer, and that's probably air dry too. From what I can see Dee, your avatar looks ok
hi i am hopfuly starting to reborn tonight after i'v slept after my night shift. i am starting tayla kit using jo sonjas paints. does anyone know of any free online tutorials using these paints? do you need a separate oven for curing?

I just sent in a request to BB for them to begin carrying ADPs. If you're a fan of ADP, would you please take a moment to send them an email requesting they carry it? With enough interest, maybe they would start carrying a line of ADP for those of us that use/like them.
I don't know if any of you saw this a couple of weeks ago, but I just got an email back from BB that they are looking into carrying them.
So, please, if you use them or are even interested in using them, PLEASE pop in over there and send them a message about how much you'd like them to carry these paints.
