Hi Emily, from the colour on the forum, I dont think he looks as bad as you think he does. Once you have finished painting him and finding the right colour mohair and clothing, that will make such a difference. Then you will love him and he does look like a boy, not butt ugly, I think I would tend to either go for green or blue clothing with a reddish ting in his hair, with a little darker lashes. Your afternoon pic looks more realistic than the evening one. I think now that you have him this far... no more blushing, he actually has enough and it seems to be the right shade. Do your alternating fleshtone colors again, maybe 2 baked layers. Then I think his coloring should be just right. He'll be alright. I've done a lobster baby before, and someone really loved her that way. I put on a soft yellow outfit and it toned more of the red down.
So glad to see the photos here. Emily, I would try Buffington's suggestion to add a couple more flesh layers and no more blush. I would definitely try that before stripping the paint to start over.

okay so I just mixed up what I was doing and added some more layers and darker blushing and I like the way he came out. I put him in the artist showcase. I have to wait for the mohair to do his eyebrows. I decided to call him Thomas. Thak you so much for the help.
