Just took some more pix outside. Getting ready to put her together. I wasn't brave enough to try painting eyelashes and hair though!! I'll try getting her together and dressed to see what I think. I'll get pix too.
Did go shopping....lol....bought preemie diapers (they'll fit the berengers too) and a preemie outfit, and stuffing. This baby won't be weighted, I ran outta money. LOL
Ok, the pix do not do this justice. They don't look like I've done much at all. I'm gonna have to get better at picture taking.

Ok, I got her together, stuffed and dressed in her outfit that she came with, and held her.....Awwwww! I love her! LOL
There is still work that I can do to her, but I like her. I didn't clip the cable ties, because I plan on weighting her later, when I figure out how to do it.
Liselle, I'm impressed. Your Zoe is adorable, and you're doing a fantastic job on her. I wouldn't worry too much about the outfit. Aren't the outfits suppose to look big on a little preemie? Welcome to the club! You sound like you are hooked on this art like the rest of us.

Yep, that's on my list to get too, when I get paid! LOL
Thank you all for the kind words! I'm gonna show her to my mother today. Thinking of calling her Taylor, since it's a unisex name. (Plus I'm a bit of a cougar at the moment with Taylor Lautner.)
Couldn't you use like pie weights or something else? Steel shot? I know no food items, but anything else??

Very nicely done! The only thing I can see is maybe her palms and the sole of her feet need a touch more coloring, unless it's just my monitor not showing it. Her coloring looks fine to me on the rest of her. Bravo! Eyebrows are a tough one for most people, I still sometimes leave them off myself. Picture taking is a weakness of mine as well. I just can't seem to take a decent picture for the life of me! Congratulations on completing your first baby!
I gave my mom the Zoe kit to and she loved it she/he is really beautiful I wish my first one looked like that. Oh and I agree about the Taylor thing I am a coguar about that to. But that is the same kit I started with and I just cant stop. I know that I am not as good as some of these ladies here but it is amazing how much you can improve with a little pratice over just a few months:) Good luck with reborning I just love it to bits.
I posted this earlier but I don't think anyone caught it. For weighting, couldn't you use like pie weights or something else? Steel shot? I know no food items, but anything else??
I was just at the dollar store, and they have the decorative river rocks and smaller, and the flat marbles as well. Could those be used?

liselle, i guess no ones replying to this cause while you could use those things.we just don't . the rocks and marbles just wouldn't have that baby body feel to them like the pollyfille pellets. i do believe there was a english gal that used something like steel shot--- but a baby filled with that'd set off metal detecters.......lol.some people have also used sterile sand.my first 2 had sand. if it your personal baby i guess it doesn't matter what you use but when you start selling them you'd want top of the line components. babys with sand can't leave the country . hope this helped----- have fun . sage
We don't mean to ignore you. I knew I had already answered and didn't realize there was more.
About the weighting... I wouldn't use anything that is not sterile, sets of alarms, degrades, spoils, or makes a noise when jostled together. Most people use glass beads, plastic pellets, or a combination.
