I would like to know what do you do when you have realized that the vein is too thick and dark and you have already gone a few coats of paints and it's just showing through like crazy..

Aviva, are you doing the veining before or after the first 2 or 3 flesh colours, I find it is easier to do them after that as they are more easily removed or made finer. Are they all too thick. Ifyou haven't gone to far with the reborning , you may have to strip back. I would hate to do that but I would like to see a pic before we all comment. XXXXXX June.
I had to think about if I leaf a post here..lol. Well It shows more than I would want it to, but now I'm having trouble liking the face. I've got it hot and stuffed it and put it in the freezer to reshape..I think that worked. I put some mohair all over the head and afterwards I see those horried black hairs. UGH and I've decided I don't even like the hair that isn't black. I ordered some mohair from S. Sullivan and it was dark brown, but it's like 75% black.black. *sigh* what's my world coming to???? I forgot that I put the glue into the head and then I decided to touch up some paint and wet the hair and wrapped it and put it in the cooker....then after that I decided since she was hot I could stuff and freeze to shape her head right.....well..I remembered I put the glue in when I reached in to get her and it was all runny...lol... So now I'm sitting her and looking at her and she is getting better. Oh..it's Aubrey # 3 or 4 for me.

You know you can die hair that has been roote, I have and it turned out lovely. I used a permanent Human hair dye, then dyed used the rest on my hair. but you could proably measure the ammounts and just mix enough to do one head. XXXXXXX June.
