aww hi my other half bought me some rescue dolls as he calls them,one just seems to pose babylike naturaly so i would love to go all out on her but.......she has blinky eyesdisbelief i'd like to take them out and replace them but.......what will hold in the new eyes or is  even possible confuse       helpbleh  thanks sage

i think you can take some polymer clay and stick it to the eyes and bake them in, but i would use the same temp to set the clay and the paint which is 265 degrees F. hope i could help!biggrin

biggrinthanks ivy,i'll try that-i know it seems silly to wast the effort on a rescue doll but i want to get  it down pat so i don't ruin a kit,also i give my rescue dolls to the local food bank when they're done. thanks   sage smile

Sage, it's not wasting your time, it's a good idea, and it seems like you'll have a whole new doll. And giving her/him to the food bank is soooo sweet of you. have fun saving your doll, and just remember, so many people will be happy that you do such nice things! best of luck re-reborning!!aww
