Hi Everyone, Just wanted to share baby Meg, I just finished rooting her. I used a 43Gage forked needle on her and even though she took longer to root, I think I may use 43gage needles on all of my babies. Any comments and opinions are always welcome!! -Cherie
Oh..I just love Meg. She is one of my favorite babies. I like the way it caze out for us. I usually put too much hair. My mom is with me and she just keepts on and on about the hair not being enough. I love it.

The coloring on your Meg is awesome! And the rooting... I agree with Tina, I would have added more hair at the swirl. I usually do the top thicker on my babies so I can do the curl (I'm partial to that, expecially on boys, but thats just me lol). How was the German forked needle to learn with? I still just can't get the hang of it. :(
I think your Meg is adorable! Her coloring is wonderful, and I love the sparseness of the hair.
The only thing I would practice is making the swirl a slightly larger and more circular when you root with lighter hair because it's harder to see. I would perhaps add a few strands a little farther down the side of the face in front of the ears to resemble the hair pictured on the real baby that is Tina W.'s avatar. Or not. Little Meg is also adorable as is.

Tina, I hope you don't mind but I right-clicked on your little man and saved his pic in my "misc baby pics". He's in the "rooting" file, he has a great head of hair and someone took a fab shot of it for rooting!!! You did save one didn't you? lol
