I have been making and teaching as a Hobby, for some yrs, teaching mostly friends and then some of their friends. I enjoyed sharing in that Hobby, just as I do with Reborning. I have two ladies that love to share reborning nights with me. XXXXX June.
June, I LOVE all your dolls! It helps so much to see an actual picture of them. You do such beautiful work.
Hugs, Linda

Thanks to all of you , I do appreciate your comments, I am blushing now, I have just rearranged them again today as my daughter put a shelf right along the lounge room wall, it is full of elves and fairies. I also have a lot still stored as I have to find places for them and have time to Iron all their cloths. Thats why some are showing the busts, and are undressed. XXXXXXX June.
Well June... FABULOUS!!! I am in awe of all your dolly accomplishments over the 20 years. :) And their costuming is great too. Simply stunning! Congrats on such a long run with the porcelains. I wish I lived near you, I'd be over at least once a week making porcelains again! I do miss it so :(
I wish you lived near me too, then I might become as good at reborning. I would love to have you do porcelain dolls with me. I have missed doing them. I have a shed full of molds some I have never made. I do think I am getting better at reborning, now that I use GHSP. Thanks for the complements. XXXXX June.
I have a storage shed full of ceramic molds (which I don't do any longer either) :( It would be fun to do dolls and babies together. Since I missed the deadline for the contest I stopped working on my 4 kits again. But I gotta finish school. My last classes are tomorrow and we're having pot luck. Yumm! I brought homemade cookine on Mon and on tues and today I brought Lebkuchen (German Christmas bread with hazelnuts and apricots in it. Very tasty and makes a big sheet ful!
I even missed it and I had one to put in. LOL. What a difference a day makes. Why do we torture ourselves so much. This should be fun and relaxing. XXXX June.
Love your dolls!!! I wish I lived next to both of you ladies because I would join you. I also do porcelain dolls and I use to do ceramics. And I would be real greatful for any reborning advise. Linda
Isn't is funny how we find out that we are all doing (or have done) similar things lol
I wish I could get a small group together here but seems like no one is interested but me. :( Well, my oldest daughter is flying in from Colorado this Monday. Maybe her and my other daughter will get together with me and we'll make at least one doll each before she goes home the next Monday. We haven't seen my daughter Dani for over 3 years so it should be a good time! I just know I'm going to ball my eyes out when I see her!!!! I'll keep you all posted how the visit is going. And if we do dolls I'll post them when they're done!
You can always ask more questions Linda. We're glad to have you here in forum. Say... when are you going to post an avatar?
Yes it would be nice if we were close enough to have a little group together and do dolls . In my porcelain doll class all of us have a good time and it's almost like family. That would be great to with some of you ladies too!!! I guess we will have to be family on this forum. I'm not to sure if I know how to post a Avator.I really right now have only got one to post. I got behind on my dolls with working so many hours and everything else in between. Now that I'm not working I'm hoping to get caught back up. You ladies know make dolls eat and sleep. Some housework in between Ha! HA! Thanks again for all your help. Have a good day!
Linda (need help), To post an avatar, just click on your name here in forum. Then click on avatar on the left. Then it'should bring up a page where you can download one of the pics from your computer. You'll see when it's done and then I think you just go to the forum. I'll have to check again for more directions.
Yes, we are like family here in forum and that's why I love it here so much! I like your analogy, and I guess we have to throw in some housework eh? hehehe
This is an example of one time when I wish I could say I've done porcelains too. My friend has a studio and porcelain doll classes, and her students just look happy. I know they all have a good time.

I started with ceramics first, then went to porcelains. Same techniques, just VERY much softer touch (and cotton balls and nylon stocking). I really enjoyed making them. The studio near me moved several years ago so I haven't done them since. I have several heads that need limbs. But I did finally find a woman who has classes once a week not too far from me so maybe when things simmer down I'll go there.
Well ladies... my eldest daughter goes back to Colorado on Monday night and is definately NOT interested in making babies with me, so I guess I won't have any to post from "us" :(. But I'll still post my baby heads (in the artist forum) I was working on for the contest.
