looking for something new...in photos

LOL..IT SAID TO ENTER A COMMENT..LOL  i WENT AND LOOKED FOR SOME NEW PICTURES TO PUT IN AND i WENT THROUGH AND THEN UPLOADED ETC, THEN IT SAID i HAD TO LEAVE AT LEAST A COMMENT OF TWO LETTERS...SO THEN i DID AND THEN THE DOWNLOAD THING WAS TAKING FOREVER NOW i DON'T KNOW IF i HAVE TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN????  ARGHH...i"M SO BLUE TODAY. "O(  I don't know what it is about this little guy, but I think he's just adorable.  I did him before with lighter hair...you know...Cody in the white tiger outfit?  Then I did the sculpt using blue eyes and dark curly hair.  At first I had some premium glass eyes that had a violet color and it just looked creepy or something so I changed it to BB newborn grey/blue or grey..not sure, but I really like them and I'm thinking I like them better than Eyeco and they are cheaper.  The moses basket is large and I'm just messing around with it trying to get some ideas.  You can't see them but I have a few clear gem stones...clear with just different kinds of cuts.  I kinda like this lace, and then I thought I could add it to a blanket to make it a set.  The only problem with this basket is that it's large and heavy.  It was almost or was 20.00 to get it to me.  So I'm going to have to come up with something to even turn a little bit instead of losing..which is what I will probably do on everything. :o(   I saw one of my pics that I put in and when I enlarged it..I had forgotten to put one of the eyelashes and hadn't cleaned up the eye at all.  duh.  I've got to be more careful and man I need some 500 magnification glasses or something.

Well I think he's looking pretty good right now hun!
WOW! Your Moses basket is wicker, mine is cloth. No wonder it cost 20 to ship to you! Mines pretty big too but at least its cloth.
But all in all I think your little bub is looking just fine :)

Aviva, I think he's adorable.  You did a beautiful job on him.  I like the pic of him in the Christmas outfit.  I think the outfit with the lighting show off his complexion so more little details can be seen.

His eyes seem perfect for him now.

Not sure what to tell you about the basket except that I think I need those 500 magnification glasses, too, because I can't see the gem stones.

dO YOU HAVE THE MOSES BASKET BY STEPHTEN (FORGOT HOW TO SPELL IT...LIKE STEVEN) iT LOOKS LIKE A QUILT.  i JUST HAD THAT LACE THING JUST STUCK UP ON IT.  i HAVENT DONE ANYTHING TO IT PERMANENTLY.  i'VE BEEN IN THIS ROOM ALL DAY.  IT COST 20.00 TO GET THE BASKET AND IT WAS AROUND 25.  sTILL NOT BAD FOR WICKER AND THE CUT OUT DESIGN IS NICE.  i THINK WHAT I'M GOING TO DO WITH IT IS USE IT AT THE BEAUTY SALON AND PUT A DOLL IN IT..SLEEPING AND SEE WHAT REACTION IS AND i HAVE ABOUT 5 LARGE MOSES ONES NOT AS HEAVY..i AM GOING TO SEE IF THE NURSING HOME WILL ALLOW ONE THERE TO SEE IF IT WOULD BE SOMETHING GOOD FOR THE PEOPLE THERE.  I pm'D jACKIE..SHE MUST NOT HAVE GOTTEN IT no

oh, i'm sorry. my brains got jarred this morning. I took another slip and landed right on my tail bone and I just got a caudel injection less than 5 days ago. I can hardly walk. But thank you all for the wonderful things you say to me. I get so afraid to put one up. From now on they are going to be nicer...I ordered a double convection oven that has room to do two 12 inch pizzas in it. The other is good, but a bit cramped. Oh...I won't do the pizza...just the babies...hehehe I wished I had a whole room fixed up just for doing dolls. Wouldn't that be good???
Oh and I broke my little toe on my left foot and then the P.A. D. test coming back really bad scares me. ...too much..

I'd love to have a Moses basket.  I think displaying the dolls in it is a fabulous idea. smile.gif

Double convection oven sounds great.  Is it a portable oven?  I haven't heard of a portable double convection oven.  I guess I don't get out much.  LOL.

In the meantime.... you don't fall again.  Whether it's a little toe or a big toe, it really hurts when you break one.  I hope it heals up fast.

P.S.  Aviva, you always make me laugh so much, and I love reading your posts.  For some reason the thought of jarred brains just tickled my funny bone.  It's much more interesting to say that than to simply use the word "confused."

Sorry to hear about your slip/fall hun. And a broken toe on top of it? OUCH! Speedy recovery to you!

My Moses basket was given to me by a dear friend. She made it from scratch and brought it with when she came up from Iowa to take a newborning class from me. She does make them for sale but it takes her a long time. She has health issues, and she procrastinates like me, right to the last minute lol. It's not wicker but actually made from a reed-like material and the covering is over it. Came with a matching little blanket and pillow. It's actually very flexible. I don't know what she charges, it's only the 2nd or 3rd one she made. She made an absolutely TDF one for her daughters baby!

I understood the "double" on your oven, it's probably the same one I have. It has 2 shelves and a rotiserie attachment. I bought it at FleetFarm for $99 several years ago and the family gave it to me for Christmas. Wonderful oven! And it goes outdoors in the summer! I just plug it in on the patio table and bake away!

Yes, absolutely! Just use the search feature above and type in oven, baking baby, heat setting or anything you can think of that will bring up the threads about the ovens. We have several threads with links to various ovens. I just LOVE mine. And... it goes out on the patio in the nice weather (right now we're frozen tundra! lol).
