hey everyone! i just wanted to ask anyone if this is happening to them or has had happend to them before. i ordered some supplies last week on tuesday, but the computer wasn't working, so we had to call to place an order. they said that it should come in 7 to 10 days. usually when i order things from secrist, they come 7 days later. i understand that there is a new doll that just came out and there is a 40% off thing, but my package still isn't here! today (friday) is day 11. i really want to start painting!! furiousi have been waiting for a long time.yawn we didn't even get any information about the shipping or tracking like i get when i order from the computer. could anyone somehow tell me if this has happend before? it would help a lot. i just want to start painting!!!!! i even emailed secrist and haven't gotten a reply yet.......i hope my stuff isn't somewhere it shouldn't be!?no

Every once in a while I don't get the e-mail for the delivery till the day of. That's the shipping companies issue.
As far as your package, remember (and since you said you called I'll presume it was M-Th) they are not open F-Sn and if an order is placed then, it will go on the next Mon business. If I were you (and shipping times will change very soon for the holidays!!!) I would call the toll free # and explain the situation. See what they can tell you. They should be able to tell you when/if the package has been shipped.

I think I am losing it? I wrote a reply to this and it's gone... Poof!

What I said was something like:
Yes, I've had things shipped that took almost 2 weeks to receive. Frustrating.

And, yippee(!) now you can start having fun painting.

Yes, i know just what it feels like, pretty much sitting on the porch everynight! i started painting two days ago, and wanted to follow my own directions for painting this time, so far i have a light pink base coat over everthing, i hope this will help me with better blushing!! thanks for everyone's help! smile

I'm glad your stuff came hun! I know how impatient I get waiting for my kits. And of course they always come when I'm gone for the entire day/night so I want the day over faster so I can get home and open the box. Even though I know what's in it, it's still fun to open and check out all the parts! hehehe

Yippee, you get to paint! I'm going to have to try to find some time over the next 2 weeks to paint for the Secrist contest. Although I'm sure I won't win as it's going to be by popular vote or something and last year I think I got about 3 votes :(
Won't be a landslide you know hehehe

Pink basecoat huh? Well hope it works for you. Keep us posted ok? :)
