Andrea, they both are just darling.  Didn't you win the BOM with the little closed eye baby? Or was it runner up?  I thought I saw her.

They are beautiful.  Wish I could use them on Dolls4Alzheimers but the closed eyes scare them so I now use only open eyes. Jacque

I'm selling them separate now, so you could just buy the open-eyed one. :)

If we weren't struggling now, I would take them.  My husband is having trouble getting the other house rented so we have 2 mortgage payments right now.  Too bad I can't pay the mortgage with dolls.  LOL.

Hey... I just now figured out why I love these twins so much.  The shape of their mouth with the chubby cheeks reminds me of the children who starred in the Mary Poppins move.  Their look also reminds me of the Baby Dear doll created by Eloise Wilkins.  Some of the Little Golden books from long ago also have Eloise Wilkins' illustrations of children.  One of them was the book "Baby Dear."  Her children's illustrations resemble the faces of these twins.

Can someone explain to me why some babies sell on ebay that (IMHO) are just pathetic while others (like yours) are so gorgeous and don't get any bids or sell? There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to what sells on ebay. From what I have seen, it just seems to be a crap shoot. And I've noticed that there seem to be a good many that are relisted due to non-paying bidders. Makes me wonder! Hugs, Melinda

Sorry you are having difficulties.  That's interesting that you found the resemblence.  I'm willing to negotiate the price if you're interested, and also I will do a layaway.  :)

Been thinking about your little twins....  Wish I could take you up on your offer.  We had some more economic bad news (company-wide pay cut) so gifts for me are not a good idea right now.  The twins are just so cute, and I can't believe someone wouldn't buy them.
