Hi all! Here are pics of the three babes I have done that I'll be trying to sell at the craft fair on Saturday. I thought I'd ask $150.00 for each of them. Is that too much? I'd appreciate your thoughts! Hugs, Melinda
I wish I had seen this before the craft fair because I would have told you that $150 is definitely not too much! I think it's almost impossible to get a fair price for crafts and art but I wouldn't lower the price. If you consider the number of hours it takes you to create the dolls plus the cost of materials (incl. kit, clothing, and accessories) what would the hourly rate of pay be? Yep... it's a good thing we are all hooked on this art because sometimes our only reward is the feelings and emotions we have while creating the doll.

Thanks Linda! Well, I didn't sell any at the craft fair. There were so many booths that had low price items, and even those didn't do very well. But I did have a lot of interest. Several people took my business cards, and a couple of people signed up on my mailings list. I'm doing a doll show in Las Cruces, NM at the end of Sept. and might do better since it is purely a doll show. Just gonna wait and see. At least I had fun and met lots of nice, interesting people! Thanks so much for your encouragement! Hugs, Melinda
