Congrats on the sale! Yes it is a wonderful thing when our children are full of joy, and a horrible experience when they are hurting and there is nothing we as parents can do to ease thier pain.

Congrats on the sales! Ex huh? Mine is looooong gone thank goodness! Remarried 2 months after we got divorced. Married a horrible woman, she was terrible with children. Her daughter was pregnant by some guy almost twice her age when she was 14 and went on to have 2 more babies by age 17! And her boy was hell-on-wheels. Nice that you communicate ok with yours. :)

OUCH! I know about the disc thing hun and I don't envy you. Hopefully they can do something about yours. I have several bulged and herniated, no fun. Did you know that you put more pressure on your discs by sitting and standing than you do otherwise? Hopefully you are at least reclining back some to make it less. I wish you luck and a speedy recovery dear.

Hello, I'm glad you sold your babies, When our children are happy we are happier, I wish you r son and his ne love the best. My son and his love is going to Las Vegas to get married on July 7th to get married, My 36th anniversary is on the day, but they don't know if they will get married that day though, He is very happy but we probably won't have any Grand babies, she is about 7 years older than my son and she has 2 adult children that my son helped raise from age 10 and 13 they are very good young men. I know about back problems I hurt mine back in 1998 ad I have a I have a mild case of scolliosis I'm on disability, I have other health problems to but I am truly Blessed .

I forgot that I posted over here...I think that ivp dye did something to my brain. I had the test last Thursday and the doctor was so gentle and I remembered that I was so relaxed until they started tilting the table to take picrures and I remember my thighs aching...made me think of when I had my first baby...seems like that was one thing I remembered..my legs aching really bad.
BUT....I haven't heard anything yet. My neck is making so much noise with the slight movement. I'm going to call the doctor. tomorrow and see if my PCP has heard anything and if not, then I'll call the pain management center. They are the ones that sent me to the neuro surgeon. They upped my pain med to 30 mg of percoget 4 times a day.
There was a question about CONVECTION OVENS IN THE MIS. CHATTER (THIS THREAD) BUT NOBDY ANSWERED IT. Does anyone know? Does anyone use one here? They are saying that you shouldn't use the same oven to eat food from that you use to bake dolls in. SOOO I want to buy a conv. and put it in the garage. Can anyone help???

Hi there! I'm the one who asked about the convection oven. No answers yet, but maybe someone will let us know. Sorry to hear about your physical problems. I hope the docs can figure out something to help that doesn't involve long recovery. Every morning when I wake up, I have a huge headache coming from my neck which hurts like crazy too, and my arms and hands are numb. Takes a little bit to get the feeling back, and if I sit up and move slowly, the headache and pain in the neck goes away. Haven't been to the doc, too stubborn to go. Mainly, I just put up with it. I guess it's the price of getting older, and like my dad always said, gettin' old ain't for sissies!
