Yep, Mothers Day is the same here. I am not a traditional mother. But, take care of lots of animals here. So, my husband wished me a Happy Mothers Day. I am lucky and still have my mom. So, we will spend the day together. We took her out yesterday for dinner. So, today I'll just enjoy her company. And feel blessed I still have her. Hope you have a wonderful Mothers Day, June. And Happy Mothers Day to everyone else out there!

Hugs,
Brenda

same to you all.  hey..we don't have to give birth to be a mother.  We can be a mother to lots of things.  I raised a baby bird once in my bathroom.  I had a hard time trying to teach him to fly.  I called him fuzzy because when I got him, he didn't have any feathers and was pretty much bald with some fuzz on his/her body.  I'm thinking kt was a sparrow that either got pushed out of nest by sibling or accidently fell out.  I think it fell out because  it was pretty healthy.  He had a diet of strained veal among other things.  He sure knew his mommy..I would walk in and his little mouth would open up waiting for me to give him something.  lol.
Oh..and I have been thinking of using a convection oven for my dolls.  They have quite a bit of them at qvc and also Walmart.
I was reading some other threads and I guess yuou have to get one with options of using heating elements.  I think all the dolls at BB have been tested to not have the stuff in them that is bad.  They have certification....Well back to working on Sugar..Donna Rupart's fat twin..the other Honey is upstairs. :)
I still like my Jody that I bought from A girl named Judith.

Yes, Happy Mother's Day to everyone. We are mums to our babies we create too don't forget! lol

Do make sure if you get a convection oven that it also has bake. That is what you want to use for your babies. And to my knowledge, BB still sells some kits with silicone in them and other PVC's so they're not all non-toxic. If you want non toxic make sure it says that for each doll kits you want. If it doesn't say that then they're not. Just an FYI.

I had a quite but happy one, on Mon we had to go to the Prince Charles hospital about Sams sleep disorder, and when we got home Zane had cooked our evening meal. It gets confusing about meal times, When I was a kid, it was Breakfast, Dinner and Tea. Mornig Tea and Arvo snack. Now over here we have Breakfast, Moring Tea, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Dinner. and a snack before you go to bed. Is it the same there. LOL XXXX June

Here where I live in the Upper Midwest (Minnesota) I grew up with what they call "3 squares" which means 3 meals a day... breakfast, lunch, and supper (dinner) (snacks in between meals are optional, for most of us). Wow June, sounds like you all are always eating some kind of thing and it's kind of an all day affair eh? lol
I know when my husband went to OZ to visit some friends of ours (they live in Sussex Inlet) they had mealtime and snacks (and the vegamite, which he didn't care for). but the roos sure go over the moon for it on bread! I think they must have had several drunken little sots in their yard always waiting for the vegamite (or at least that is what I was told lol). But my husband was always willing to share his portion of vegimite with the roos! hehehe He said it must be an aquired taste :o

During August-September we have a Rennaissance festival and we always go there and attend the "Queen's High Tea"! It's a real treat. Even the Dutchess is there. It's all a re-inactment of midevil times and everyone dresses in costume and plays the parts. It's really a lot of fun.

Oops, guess I got kind of off topic...

Yes it does sound like we eat a lot, but in our family it is mostly small portions, I have been 80 kgs for the past 4 yrs, but that is becauce of no exercise because of Sam. Normally I do all the hard work and still am able to do the heavy stuff. Tonight we are just having chicken kebabs, and then apple pie. XXXXX June.

YUM to both :)
Yes, us American's eat LOTS and we have very large portions! We have a childhood obesity level that is really high. The parents are too busy to cook and also the kids walk all over them and so they go to like mcdonalds and like that all the time. So no wonder.

BTW... I hope Sam is doing better hun!
