I am so sorry. And I completely understand your feelings. I have many animals here on our small farm. All rescues except for one horse. It's never easy. You have to hold the good memories in your heart. I have one dog a stray that was left here. My only dog ever. He's my best friend. I have no children, and my animals are like my kids. Take care of yourself. And give yourself some time.

Thank you so much Brenda, I feel dogs are children with fur, and I read some where that dogs leave foot prints on your heart, I truly believe that, I love all animals but I really love dogs.

I'm sorry to hear about your little doggie. :(
But the good thing is that at least you saved him from any more pain and sickness. Most often people keep their pets around long after they should (for their own comfort) if they are sick or hurting. I had to take our family dog to have him put down because my mother wouldn't. The vet said he died a thousand deaths with her keeping him around for so long. He went very peacefully though. My mother wouldn't speak to me for over 6 months but I didn't care (I mean I did really but...) at least our dog was not sick or hurting any more.

You will always remember your little furry baby and that is what counts. You did the right thing (IMHO)! :)
Yes, I know that the dolls are very theraputic for a lot of people for whatever reason. I'm glad we have them.

Thank you Pat B. I know that my doggie isn't suffering any more, I look at his picture everyday and say hey weezy boy, his name was PEE WEE I still have his dad and 3 sisters they are chihuahua's they are my babies. working on my dolls help alot I'm glad I found out about reborning. After losing our Blue Cattle dog ( pepper) that we had had for 21 years, I vowed I would never have another one to take his place. But I have inherited two of my sons, One got cancer and we had to have her put down one mothers day. the other big fellar is with us at the moment. Both of his dogs ,believe it or not talked to us. Kimba, the first ,used to say Hello MOM, and and the one we have now says Hello, it is a bit doggy but it is very clear. Sorry to hear about yours but it is best they dont suffer. XXXX June.

Thank you June, it still hurts but it's getting better,I know that some dogs can talk, I had a small mixed dog many years ago that my brother taught to say I want to go around the block, I recorded it but I can't find it it was so long ago. I have a chihuahua thats black and tan her name is pepper also have others tiny,blondie and peaches.
