confuse I haven't been here in a while so now I am confused...sorry...no
The last time I was on the secrist site they used paint for doing the eyebrows.
Now I see they have eyebrow pencils.  Do I use them instead of the paint? Do they need to be seald? Do I use both shades of pencil?  I have trouble with my eyebrows
and theses pencils could possibly save me! I do hope someone can help me.  Thanks
for any help you can give.  Oh an by the way please forgive my spelling...I do not spell very well.

Hi  Sweet Pea 54,
I don't know about the secrist pencils, but I do use water color pencils for my eyebrows, it is much easier for me, I don't wet the pencil I draw the brows then wait  until I finished with the doll then I seal them with the rest of the doll, I have had to draw them a couple of times before I was satisfied, but everyone has there own way of painting there dolls, this works for me when I get better maybe I will paint them. Have a good evening.smile

Dee.

You can still paint your eyebrows, of course. And I think you would only use one color of pencil, but you would use different ones depending on the hair color. You can use any watercolor pencils, not just the ones from Secrist. Check out your local craft or art store!

The water color pencils are Prismacolor. The light umber is a good color. I found mine at a local craft store. They are easy to find.  Draw in your brows and then let sit for 24 hours. Then you seal them with Genesis thick texture medium. This is from a VERY reliable source. She is a sculpter and a well know reborn artist. She sells them on her website. And she gave me this info.
Hope it helps!

Brenda

I am going to try to find the water colors and see if they help me any.
Thank you so much for giving me the directions on how to use them on my

you have helped me.

I think the Prismacolor pencils are one of the only ones that do work as far as being fairly permanent. I know Stephanie Sullivan swears by them. The nice thing is that if you make a booboo you can wipe it off. Then like Brenda said, just let it set for 24 (I do 48+ just to be safe) and they actually sink into the vinyl and become permanent.

Thank you so much for letting me know that Prismacolor is the only one that works. smile I almost got another brand and for some reason didn't.  I am so glad
I decided to waite till I knew more!   Now to find where I can get them!
If you have any suggestions please let me know.  Where I live there are no
craft stores, and our local Wal-Mart does not carry them. cry

Thanks Again
Kathie
