hey. i was wondering if anyone has gone to a class. i'm planning to go to one and i was wondering what you need to bring to the class. if anyone could tell me or give me any idea or someway to find out, that would be great! thank you for your time.
It depends on what kind of class you are purchasing... ie: beginner basic, beginner advanced, etc. I would contact the teacher and ask just to be on the safe side. My students for a beginner basic class don't bring anything except a smock. I provide all the stuff as it's included in my price. Oh yes, you might want to bring something to eat or drink just in case.
thank you for those suggestions. i'm thinking about going to the one in san antonio tx. they said you get a doll kit and brushes soi didn't know if i was supposed to bring like my paints and supplies.
It's always a good idea when attending a class to contact the person holding the class ahead of time to ask any questions, especially if you're new at this. I wouldn't hurt. :)
The first class I went to you had to take a kit, a second hand doll or a shop bought doll. Make your own body. I would have prefered doing a proper kit to start off with. Also the teacher used artist oil paints which I wasn't very happy with, then I went to do inks with her, which I was quite OK with, but since using Genesis, wouldn't use anything else. So make sure you ask what sort of paints she uses. XXXX June
