I just have a question about a polymer clay and craft oven that I saw advertised in my newspaper, it heat up to 300 degrees 130c can this be used for GHSPs?  If anyone knows anything about this please let me know.

Thanks Ladies,

The Genesis only needs to be cured at 265F or 130C. You can also use a countertop oven but not a toaster oven. The elements heat differently and usually that stuff gets burnt or scortched. I'm not sure what temp for the polyclay?

Here is a link for the one I have: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4012129 . It does have convection and rotisserie but I don't use those for my clay or my babies. I just use bake.

Hi, I use an Oster Digital toaster and conventional. It works ok. But the real 265 F is set in the 200 of the oven. I always use a thermometer. I bake polymer clay, or the vynil if I am reborning. But, it is not very large, so, I think if you have a large doll, like a todler, it will not fit. I have been working with premiees, and my sculpters are about 19" the largest until today. The head would be very close to the top of the oven, and may be it will not be very good. xd.gif
And the temp to the clay is 265F, usually. I never knew some one that needs more than this.
