I Cannot believe it but I started another baby today, an open-eyed boy which is going called Mckenzie. My FIRST open-eyed baby, I was really nervous about putting the eyes in Lol

I started painting at around 8.30 this morning and finished all painting and inserted the eyes at around 6 o'clock this evening!! 10 and a half hours!! I think that is a record!! He looks adorable!! I will definately be taking lots of pictures to show you guys! I am extremely proud of his hands and feet, nails are looking better than when I started.

All i have to do now is root his hair and lashes and weight him..then he is done and ready for ebay!! Hooray Lol

I have to say a big thankyou you everyone here and to secrist for helping me find this wonderful talent!!

Well It was a bit hard putting the eyes in, but apart from that it wasn't at all bad! You should try it, it's a good change Lol

Well just to update you all on his progress...

I started to root his hair today and it is going really well, I am around halfway there which is good as it means my rooting has improved! Yay! I have a couple of sore fingers but hay ho lol

Hopefully I have my camera tomorrow so I will put some piccoes on for you to see

I know!! I hope they do well, the amount of time spent painting and rooting..It's hard work!!

I have given my sore fingers a rest for today, but will start rooting again tomorrow hopefully =)

Go for it you young girls, it isn't that hard after you have done your first. But when you set the eyes make sure the light spot is in the same place in both eyes before you set them in. The light spot, in the same place means you have set them correctly. Can't wait to see her in the show case. XXXX June

Mo, I know how that goes... I still am only half way done with my Ariella! I have 2 sets of Danielle's 6" mini triplets almost done, 3 other bubs in the works, and my Vivien still doesn't have brows or lashes!!

Lol Ariella is huge! It's gonna be a big mission to complete and I just realised that I do not have enough glass beads or poly pellets so I wil have to get that and eyelashes hehe

Its all worth it in the end!! I love it!! =P

I have enough of that but I am rooting her with my daughter's hair from when she was little. Quite the job since she had LOTS of hair when she was born and Ariella's head is really huge! lol
So it might take me 6 months to root! :o

I think it may take a bit longer that 6 months, try a year Lol! Aww thats a nice idea using your daughters hair, it will make the baby seem much more real

Well I am on half term now..11 days of lie-ins, coursework, shopping and a bit of reborning!

A year lol!!!
I haven't hit my half time break yet, 6 classes per week and some from last semester I wasn't able to finish so lots and lots of homework! I really don't get much time to reborn :(

Well So far I have been shopping 3 times, no lie-ins, no coursework done and no reborning done hehe, but hopefully going to be taking more pictures of my avatar to finally go on ebay! I plan for her to go on in the next week so....WATCH THIS SPACE!!

I finished four of my reborns last week and sold one at the doll show in Brisbane Australia, But she was just a doll shop doll and realy cheap but turned out lovely, have done a twin for her too, now I will have to make another cheap one so they will be sold as twins. No pics on this computer yet, so you will have to wait. XXXX June.
