I found a natural daylight lamp with magnifying glass and it also has a heavy duty clip to hang something (maybe yourself after you see your work under this lamp) anyhoo, I know they have one on the Secrist site, but I really looked at how they were made, the cost of the bulbs for replacements...sturdiness etc. and so on. This one has a brushed copper base which is very heavy. So..no chance in knocking it off the table...which I'm a total fumble finger/foot Queen, so I had to watch for that. I was able to get the box out of the rain...I got it downstairs..one step at a time and then got it out of the box...whew....all this on 3 hours of sleep last night...or rather from 7 AM..to 9:30 AM and Jerry talking to me during that time. So I got the lamp up, but wasn't interested in looking at directions...and I was just tired. The trip to Knoxville was horrible yesterday..I was having double vision, so I kept jerking the car...it looked like the headlights of coming cars were coming in two different directions. Mom can't drive anymore...she could, but it's been about 3 years. So she kept saying....why don't you pull over and sleep some?? I just wanted to get home...but then I got home and stayed up all night last night. I forgot what I was doing...it's wasn't a doll...hummmm. But I did start one tonight...hehehe..I already got my 3 preemies from Secrist. Anyway if anyone is interested in this lamp I got...I'll tell you...check it out on hsn that's all you have to put in the search. It was like 120.00, but worth every penny. I love it. Good for this and also atractive enough to use anywhere as both the other arms can come off. Oh...I'm working on Zoe. She looks a whole lot like Jody...hummmmmm. and all 3 of my preemies have the exact same arms and legs?? And you have to cut the opening in the head and limbs...I was pooped by the time I was ready to start!!! And the vinyl is pretty hard. Oh well...I really was ready to try something different...AND the prices went up the day after I ordered!!! I can't hardly believe they charge that much for just a head...hummmm.
