Needles !!

If you purchased the plastic mushroom handle that one takes the "L" end not cut needles. The precut ones don't stay in it.
The wooden handle is for the precut needles.

Thanks for answering my question. But I have both plastic and wooden one and the needles won't stay in either. So guess I'm going to reorder the uncut ones hoping that will take care of my problems. Am I 'm ordering the right size for micro rooting? German 43 Gauge reg.? confuse

Hope you don't mind all the questions but your talking to a real dummie here. Thank you for all your help some day maybe I will be half as good as you ladies. Have a good day !!!!

You're not a dummy!
If you ordered the needles from Secrist, and the mushroom handles, they came with a silver tube type thing that you put your needles into. One end has a hole and the other end has an x. There should have been on in the handle and one extra (for different sized needles).

You insert your needle into the hole and push through so the needle sticks out of the other end where the x is. Then you tighten the collar on the mushroom handle so it's tight.

Não entendo a diferença entre as agulhas, no site da secrist existe varias?
Qual é a famosa agulha que tantos artistas falam que é para micro enraizamento?
Muitos falam aqui no brasil que as agulhas para micro enraizamento são chamadas de agulhas alemãs?
São as mesmas que se vende no site da secrist?

Hola Paula, esas agujas que venden en Secrist no son las unas que se usan pare el micro-root. Pare eso necesitas comprar agujas que se llaman 'German Forked Needles' en la talla 42. Las puedes comprar de Hunnybuns, Doll Dreams, y Bountiful Baby. Las agujas que Secrist vende van a poner mas que 1-2 pelos a una ves, pero las agujas German ponen solo 1-2 pelos a una vez. Las de Secrist funcionan, pero no van a darte el micro-root. Pero si pueden ser mas facil para usar si estas solo empezando. Espero que esto te ayude. :)

Hi Linda,
It is really easy to use the needles without the mushroom thing... if you wind a large rubber band around the end of the needle..I find that a lot easier than trying to put needles in the mushroom needle holder.... Nana Delma

I have a wooden pin vice and it is very frustrating because the needle will just fall out also.
I have precut needles 38G. I'm about to give it a toss.I have followed the directions from the Tutorial and no go. Now what? I have wiggled it, pushed it, pulled it and begged it to work.

Are you sure you're using the right insert for the needle? I mean there should be 2 of the insert things that you put your needle into before inserting that part (with your needle) into the handle. There is one with a rather large hole in one end and a smaller one in the other end, then there should be one with like a smaller hole and an x in the other end. Since you have the pre cut needles you should use the smaller opening ended one.

porque reparei que as vezes enfiava a agulha e não ficava nenhum cabelo e outras vezes enfiava e ficava!

Hi Linda im really surprised that you havnt had a reply to this,or am i not seeing them for some reason.its been quite a while since you asked this question so you must have sorted it out by now. any way thought id mention this seller as she sells the tool plus the cut 43 gauge needles for micro rooting as well.if this doesnt help you it might help somone else! i wouldnt use any others. just finished a jacob kit and have succesfully micro rooted!

Yes, since Secrist does sell rooting tools it was probably not a good idea to mention that. Better to pm the forumer. :)
