Had any one ordered a kit from RDK?  After waitting 4 weeks for my order it finally came.  I am so disapointed withthe dolls.  I got Noah and his right cheek looks like he has the mumps, the fingers and toes are terrible, looks like monkey feet.  I contacted them and they said they don't so returns.  The vinly is very soft but a very dark color.  I have only done 2 Secrist kits so I am not an expert on doll kits but I don't even want to waste my time dong these kits.

Mimi, I never ordered from them but I went there just to check and I noticed that Noah has beautifull limbs, at least that is what they show. So, I think they changed the limbs in your kit. I am in my second kit reborn, Lollypop from Secrist. Only very good experiences. I think you should contact them and ask them to send the right limbs, the one you can see in their site as Nohas limbs to sell. That was what you bougth.
Hope you can back with good news!.

They cannot do this.It is agains the law. I am sure there is a way to make them send the right limbs to you. Lets wait a little bit more to see if someone more experience with this can help you. But something needs to be done, I agree with you Mimi. This can happen with anyone of us . But for sure this RDK is not a serious business.

Hello Mimi-
I have ordered from RDK myself in the past.  I ordered two Benjamin's although there were no major issues I was not happy, however you do get what you pay for I guess.  It does state in thier policies that there is a possiblity of defects so I guess they did cover thier rear ends for the imperfections.  However if you feel you received the wrong legs, I would keep trying with them to get an exchange for them.  As far as the coloring, Yes I had that with Ben as well, a good color wheel and a bit of color correction does work.  Although I have sold both Ben's I newborned I will not order from there again.  I was just not totally satisfied with the kit.

I have heard many people have had problems with them. Not only with their orders taking months but also dissatisfied with the quality. Tell them you don't want a return you want an exchange. Does it say anything about exchanges? If not press the issue that you are not returning just exchanging and it doesn't say no exchanges.

Other than that you can fill out a complaint with the BBB in the state where they come from. I hate it when companies won't stand behind their product. And yes, by stating there might be defects they have covered their kickable hinies!

Should you not get any satisfaction at all from them you do have the right to go to the State Attorney General with this problem also.

Hope this helps and hope you get somewhere this time! Keep us posted.
