Beth Eliza was born at 3 am on the 2/11/8, weighs 4lb 11ozs. She made me take her head off three time to get her eyes right. Delaying her birth, it was most likely my Nana doing it, as she was born on the anniversary of her passing. Her name was Elizabeth. When I told my daughter what I had called her, She said why Didn't you call her Elizabeth after her, thats when I realized ,I had in a round about way ,as if you reverse the nae it does become Elizabeth. XXX June.
Thanks Rosemarie, I love her and she does look lovely in Lilac, she has 3 bidders and about 14 watchers, maybe so will go higher towards the end. XXX June
Is she one of the "Luca" babies? I mean not Luca but one of the others by that sculptor? I just love those sculpts. I have 2 of the original Luca and one was started but not with Genesis. She's partly done and in my cupboard, relaxing! lol hehehe
That one was Hannah, and she sold for $305 plus $30 postage, and then they wanted insurance so I had to drive half way to Gympie to get her weighed and find out how much to post, and because of that they are willing to pay an extra $15 postage. I started her with Heat set ink on the shading and then finished painted her with Genesis. She turned out lovely and even though I haven't got that mottling down yet, I think she turned out fine and the two different Paints didn't collide. LOL XXX June.
I'm glad she turned out well for you hun. I had one bub on ebay about a year ago. I still have him :( but that's ok. He likes to go to the shows with me and hopes some day to be adopted :) I kinda like her Efje sculpt. Maybe I'll sell my 2 Luca kits. Is anyone buying the old Luca's since the new softer ones came out? Guess I'll just have to put her up and find out eh?
