Hi I think she looks very nice, but like above said the eyelashes are to long. Babies have fairly short lashes especially when their eyes are closed.:)

I like her/him, the colouring is nice and not overdone like some I've seen, (includung some of mine, I'm guilty too,LOL)
I really like the lips, nice and natural looking. The only thing is the eyelashes need a trim as said above. Other than that your baby is lovely.

thank you and I agree after seeing the picture I did go back and trim back the eyelashes. Thank you to all for taking a look. It's hard sometimes when you are teaching yourself by DVD's without an actual person to see what you are doing. So it's great that we can come here and get the help from others.

I was thinking along the lines of MO and a couple of others. the colouring is lovely but you do need shorter lashes.June weirdface

I think, being self-DVD-taught... you have done a really great job on her head. As stated by everyone else above, I think everything looks just right! And I'm not just giving lip service like some do. I have seen a lot of dolls that really need some attention to detail, even coloring, but some people either don't know what good looks like or they don't want to say anything critique-ish for fear of hurting the persons feelngs. But everyone needs some honest criticism, even me. People can state things nicely, tactfully, without being mean right?
But, her head is lovely, can't wait (like everyone else) to see her/him all done.

Thank you so much! It is really rewarding to hear such great comments from such wonderful artists. I am learning so much from this forum. I did take everyones advise and I trimmed the eyelashes way back and now they do look much more realistic . I will wait to post another picture when she is complete. Just started to root her last night. This morning she was almost ruined as my 2 1/2 year old thought she would follow in my footsteps and add a little "extra" paint to her head and hair!!! My vein blue and flesh!!! Thank God I was able to get it all off.
