okay i have two questions

1. has anyone ever tried using real human hair for rooting? (did it work, etc)
2. where on the secrist website can i find the sculpting tools used by the lady on the video, such as the chisel shaper? does not seem to be on any of the webpage offerings of supplies. i am new to this and just starting, so thank you in advance!!

I have not done any human hair yet but I have heard from well known rooters that even though it's baby hair it's course, kinda like old goat hair (adult goats over 2 years old have very coarse hair). It can be done but it must be good hair and be careful as it might break easier than mohair, even though both are hair.
I have my daughters hair from when she was a baby and I'm going to root it on Ariella when I finish getting her painted.

The sculpting tools are usually there under the sculpting section. If they are out of them they take them off the site till they are back in stock. I'm sure that is the case. Just keep watching for them on the site. :)

Go into your profile, click on avatar, click on upload avatar and when it comes up with browse then just go to where you have your pics, choose one and then it will go into where you were browsing. Then you click upload avatar, then select avatar. From there it will show the one you picked. Then you're done.

I hope I wasn't too confusing. If I was come back and tell me. :)

Thank you so much Pat it worked!
Not sure what I was doing wrong the first ten times I tried.

This is my first attempt at reborning.  Little Zoe here still needs her hair rooted, but the renos at home are first on the list to complete.

Had so much fun and learned lots just from this first try.
