Can anyone tell me if there are instructions for inserting eyes into a doll. I have just purchased 2 new dolls and they both have open eyes.  One is wide open and one is slightly opened. I am going to be working on them this weekend, so any information would be helpful. Thanks

Kim, You can warm to doll and insert from front or you can cut a flap and insert from back ,on the forum someone said they hold the flap open with the end of a paint brush to insert from the back, once you have them positioned right, then you can glue them closed with E6000, to set them right you have to have the lights in the same place in each eye. if you have someone there have a look in their eyes and you will see what I mean

Thank you, I will try to heat up both dolls and try from the front firtst. If that doesn't work then I will cut and insert from behind. Now here is a stupid question, but do I put the eyes in when I am done painting, or before? I want to try to root eye lashes for both dolls.

If they are out to begin with, I always tell my students to leave them out till you are all done, but put them in before you add lashes. :)

I would suggest searching the forum as there is more information on eye insertion/changing eyes.
