Hi June and everyone I have been reading a lot of tips, haven't started a baby yet waiting for my Grandaughter to start school I never seem to have spare time, night time is not good for me I really need good eyes to work. This is the first forum I have posted on you drew me out of the woodwork didn't you June, I think there is another forum member from Adelaide.

HELLO Josie, I'm glad to know you got out from under the covers, I think I got a few new ones out of bed. I, Too have a granddaughter that lives with us and her mum,she will be three in Oct. She normally sits on my shoulder or the back of the chair and watchs TV. But I Am an older person and nave been making Porcelain Dolls for 20 or yrs before I started Reborning. Yet to make one with Genesis Paints, normally paint mine with ink. What name does the other lady use? You will have fun reborning, seeing your new baby come to life... June M from Oz

June i'm waiting until the school holidays finish before I start, I have everything ready to go i'm a person that needs total concentration (senior moments) learning lots of tips from the forum though.
Did a little hair rooting on a practice limb don't mind the 38 and 40 gauge 1 barb needles need to go a little slower want to do everything in a day.

I need to get started on my reborning again. I haven't finished a baby for about three mo. I'm cleaning my reborning center and trying to get things organized. I just bought some really nice mohair and have a "Jana" doll to reborn, "she looks a lot like my new grandaughter" and I want to make a keepsake baby for her to have when she is older. Connie

Josie ,You are like me then, I hate knitting ,it takes to long, I love sewing and have been sewing since I was about 9 yrs old on Mums old singer treadle sewing machine, thats how old I am. I made my last Daughters wedding dress,veil, tuile prtticoat,satin peticoat, and gold mesh trainand bustle from Thurs and then my own cloths for her to get married on Sat, because she couldn't make up her mind if she was or wasn't. I said if you don't make up ypur mind befrore Thurs, forget it. June M from Oz.

Connie, You are about 5 mths older than me, so it is time for you to start getting back into it now, I am waiting on a house being renivated, as I have made Porcelain Dolls for over 20 yrs, and took up reborning after my husband had a bad accident and fractured both hips and pelvises and damaged no,s 2 - 7 Discs that are pressing on his spinal cord and nerves, so While all my greenware and kilns are packed away, we went to a doll show and he suggested I start reborning, so here I am. I was computer illiterate untill I got on to this forum and some of the girls helped me. So you will get plenty of help and inspiration from them. Did I get you out from under the covers too.
