Has anyone ever got "rooting elbow"? I am hurting in my left elbow from rooting for hours at a time. I realize now I should take a break at least every hour. I wonder if anyone who buys these babies have any idea how long it takes to get the hair on them? Of course it is so worth it, once you finish and have that precious wee little one in your arms. Taking a break! Janie

I have no trouble with my elbow, but my hand sometimes cramps up. I never root for more than an hour at a time. I usually do my rooting over a period of days or weeks (in small bursts). I rather doubt that the customers understand how many hours go into a baby--not to mention a toddler!

Janie and Heather, I have had both of those things, and sometimes just push myself when realy I know I shouldn,t. So stop have a coffee and go back to it, because as you know they won't run away. June M from Oz.

Not my elbow, but it bothers my neck, back and hands. It takes me several days longer because I have to stop for a few days then go back to it.
