I'm so sorry that this happened to you, June. It looks like your oven may be too hot. Hopefully that wont happen again. That's so sad :[

How horrible! Can you send it back and let them analize it and see if maybe it was a faulty sculpt?

Have you contacted the company yet? I have never seen that happen before--usually if you cook them too long or too hot they get dented. I have bever seen cracks before. Maybe the people in the office can help. She did look cute though!

oh no! and she was looking so great too. it looks as if the vinyl is quite thin? is that normal for a doll, im a newbie so i wouldnt know, it jsust looks a but thin in those cracked areas to me.

June, I've never seen one do that before! I've even resculpted a number of dolls' heads and never had that happen. I would contact Secrist or PM Pat B. and see if she has any information to help.

That looks like a manufactorer's defect, to me! Hopefully they will replace it.

Send your pics to: support@secristdolls.com and they will help you out. If I remember correctly you did order directly from Secrist, not a dealer right?
If you did order through a dealer instead of directly from Secrist, please contact the dealer. But I'm sure you said you order from the factory.
Also be sure to tell them exactly what you did as far as baking, paints, temp, time, etc so they can figure out what happened.

Pat B, iI don,t know how to send pics by web yet But I did them at 130 degrees the same as all my others, and yes I did get them from Secrists. The hand cracked on the second lot of baking and the head on the last, about the eight. Also there was oil in the packs inthe mini sets of paint and I got two lots of the Strawberry ComplectionAnd my mistake I didn't get green or umber(yellow). June M from Oz.
