Wow June! I´m wordless after saw your dolls! They are just perfect! I´m talking whit a huge professional, excelent artist you are!!! I´t incredible! I couldn´t avoid to call my momm to see your dolls! She also thing you are fantastic!
I will tell you something June, from one porcelain doll maker to another... I know you will do just fine with the Genesis paints, just remember that they are like our china paints... never dry until fired (baked for Genesis), highly pigmented, techniques for painting with them are very VERY similar (if not the same) as the porcelain (pouncing, feathering, etc) and use similar if not the very same brushes for porcelain painting.
YOU WILL DO JUST FINE HUN!!! I know! :) This is the only reason mine turn out well for me is that I made porcelains for 20 years also, and so when you mention a techinque you may have trouble with I should know exactly what you are talking about. Not to mention you have all our other forum friends to help you :)
WOW !! WOW!! Hi June just got on the site. Our computer is acting up our on line doesn't want to stay on.Can't have this I need to taik to all my new forum friends !! I saw your porcelain dolls. They are wonderful !!! You are a very talented artist. I make porcelain dolls also. It's like having the best of both worlds.Porcelain and reborning. I like making the bigger dolls they are easiler to sew for. Love the outfits did you have a pattern or don't you use a pattern? If so I would like to know were I could maybe order one. Again great job.
Thank You Linda, No I don,t have a pattern, it is taken off the picture hanging on the doll. They are Australian made Wedding dresses made on the Sunshine Coast, and before I copied it from the magizine, I got permission to be able to do it. June M from Oz
