Hi Ladies, haven't talked to anyone in a few days. Still working on "Poor Joey". I have to agree with what you ladies said about my first reborn baby probably won't be perfect . I know the rooting job won't be. I've started over three times. So I'll buy a hat !!I 'm really looking forward to getting him done. But I also am going to buy some micro rooting needles. For my next one. Thanks for all your help and advice ladies. LINDA
Linda, Your welcome to ask for any information, I,m sure that if anyone is up with what you want to know we are only to willing to share, Wash his hair and dry it ( with shampoo and conditioner, and if it doesn,t look any better do what I did and put some gel in it, wont look dso bad then. My first two are under, first two crappy, they were only Berenguar. June M from Oz
My first doll looks so horribe. her paint is now chipping away as i didnt knwo how to use the paint and the hair..DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED! i didnt know how to rrot so i just rooted all over the head and she now wears a hat haahah and is hidden from public view
Joey is so cute! I remember how much I liked his pictures!
Rooting the doll's hair the first time was tough for me! I did Missy as my first. By the time I realized that I was putting way too much hair on her head, it was too late--and I had to continue with the same thickness to finish. She has so much hair!!
But she's my first baby, and I love her--and I learned a lot from doing her. So best wishes as you work on Joey. You're going to love snuggling him with joy and pride when he's done!
