i felt i should make a post regarding the things i'd previously said about beannes here in australia. She's one of the few aussie suppliers who i'd previously voice being particularly unimpressed with due to her extortionate prices and sub-quality servise.
i decided to check back with her site after having made a comment about how i give her a big miss in one of the other posts on here over the weekend.
i feel i should eat my words, and at least attempt some kind of retraction. Her kit prices have come down somewhat, she's still probably one of the more expensive here though. But she has some new mohair in stock... i ordered some b/c it truly did look exquisit... well it arrived this morning and all i can say is OMG!!! its devine, beautiful, the very softest, silkiest most wonderful mohair i've ever seen or felt. I'm beyond impressed with the quality of this mohair, i've never ever had such devine fiber to work with.
I'm glad you have worked things out and made a public retraction. If she ever sees this or hears of it, at least this is here too.
One thing on the prices of our items from out of the USA dealers... you must understand that they must order in large quantities to be dealers and they do pay all the customs fees and other fees for you. So in order to recoupe those fees (you can't expect them to absorb those fees), their prices are higher than ours shown on our website and rightly so. It would cost you more if you order from the states and had those fees on smaller orders I'm sure. They do this as a convenience for you. So please take that into consideration when speaking costs on ordering :)
