Kate has been in my avatar picture for the last few days, I've listed her just now on ebay.

I think this is one of my fave's that i've ever created... she's just so pretty, and so photogenic. I had such a tough time trying to choose the photos for her listing. I took around 90, i managed to weed it down to 54 and couldn't get it any lower. She's such a little doll, a fairy child. I love her and i think she should do really well at auction.... but then you never can tell, a baby i think is devine sometimes ends up being one of the lower sellers and one i don't so much like can sell really well, so we'll have to see.

I know her listing is afully photo intense but i was just so proud of her i couldn't help but want to show all of her pictures off.

She looks adorable hun! i love her little teddy so cute!! must say ive never seen an auction with that many photos before hehehe but they are all just lovely you did a fantstic job reborning her best of luck with her auction(((((((((big hugs))))

thanks... i never thought much of this sculpt going by the proto-type pic, i though she was a little flat looking in her features.

Then at the show i did, a woman bought her to me. She had a morgan which had been an abandond attempt and i fell in love with her. I stripped her back and re-worked her for the woman and she couldn't get over the difference and was so pleased with her that she gave me an extra $100 on top of what i quoted her to do her for her.

After seeing the kit in person, i really fell for her and had to do her again. She has such a delicate little face and such pretty features.

Can i ask with all the photo's in the listing did it take a long time to load??

well 20 loaded no problems the others had the red x so i had to click them individualy and press show picture to get them to open :)

Yes, but I have time on my hands so just sat and waited.  The screen went black and I thought , here we go again, because I had already down loaded them this afternoon and forgot to press submit. lol.weirdfaceJune m

so do you think i should reduce the number of images?? if people are only going to get the red 'x'

i'm on cable broadband so i don't think to consider the image loading thing - that people on different connections and plans might have a problem viewing the listing

well i just went back into Kate's listing, i had decided to reduce the number of pictures by removing every third one no matter what picture it was... that would have taken the total from 51 photo's down to a much more reasonable 36.

however she's received an opening bid and so now i cant remove any of the pics. oh well i hope that most people's internet connection and computer will load all of them and not just give the red'x' in a box instead of the photo.

That's what I really enjoy about your auctions--I LOVE looking at all the pictures, and I don't think you should change anything you're doing. After all, right now you have a winning formula! You are doing incredibly well! My pictures loaded up in a snap! No red X's.

thank you rosemarie, andi'm glad to hear that you didn't have any prob's with the photo's loading. i do generally try to keep between 30-40 photos but this little one was just so photogenic that i couldn't pick.

She's gorgeous... I seen a couplt of these sculpts done now, and I am really tempted to get myself a Morgan..Just short on dolly funds this month...So frustrating.

You have done a great job with your Morgan..And you should feel responsible for my wanting to do one myself now..lol

Kate just sold for $510 (AU) she's going to her new mummy in the US.

I'm thrilled with her sale price, i was so very proud of this little girl and am so happy she did so well at auction *wheeeee
